Let's face it, we are gonna get a default or two or three or four anyway, token payment or not. Save your money, it might come in very useful. F and Fs and all that in the future.
Hi Prof, I think this is good advice, it appears that I have to wait for 3 months for RBS to default me and stop interest because I was up-to-date with our payments, which actually makes no sense at all:eek:More than Two Years in

Can only confess to fighting with Hbos, being made delinquent by RBS, killing two bunnies and getting the blooming trolley wrong again in Aldi, however, I did secure the Whacko supplies:rotfl::rotfl:More than Two Years in

Hi Gabriella
Yes I am afraid so, she told me you had to be 30 days "delinquent" (in arrears), then they would cancel the account and then send you a default 30 days after that and at that point they can cancel the interest. they can cancel late charges now but that's only 12.00 per month. She tried to kind of make out that this was some sort of law/official process but I made her aware that I wasn't that daft and she admitted it was RBS procedures. So nothing to do but wait for this methinks:eek::eek::eek:More than Two Years in

I'm not sure where i stand with mine. The people i've spoken to are flipping idiots. I'm in arrears this month i guess but haven't technically missed a payment as I am still making a payment this month from the CCCS.
The letter states it may issue a default. Its all very confusing this default business, but i definately want them to cancel the interest as its a loan of alot
Umm food for thought. at least RBS's top guy isn't taking a bonus this year. Maybe they'll let us off - :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:0 -

I know by the time you catch up, you forget what you've just read:rotfl:
PDD I think you deserve Olympic gold for the worst Aldi experience.. poor ickle bunnies
Losing as far as I know, Natwest shouldn't take the money out of the overdraft, it normally only applies to money coming into the account. So no worries there. If I were you I would just send the notification letters and token payments together rather than using your limited funds to pay debt thats gonna go on the DMP anyways IYSWIMIf you get a not accepted letter I guess its up to you. You can accept this and wait to see what happens or you could get in touch with them and see if they'll change their minds. Personally Ive decided to wait and see what happens. Cant be a*** to chase them up, spending my money on lengthy phonecalls. Try not to worry about extra debts, in the end if you werent on a DMP you would still get the charges and int if you couldnt afford the payments, or even worse, take out more debt to try and pay that debt. You're out of that vicious circle now, try to see this as the end of your debt gains. You'll get there in the end, true that charges and int will make your DFD come later, but it will come and a lot sooner than if you did nothing to sort it all out. Not too sure what happens at the review, as I havent got there yet, but Im guessing they might want to know if circumstances have changed, see your CCCS budget, that kind of thing. Take it easy, have a strong :coffee: , pick up your fav book and RELAX!!!!

Morning all,
Woke up to a phone call from CrapOnenot a good start to the day - its set me off on a wobble and I'm all panicky about going to work in a bit
The barstewards are pushing for more money, even though I've told them that from 1st May (OH's first payday in new job) our circumstances will be improving and we'll be making higher payments, but nooooo they can't wait. Blah.
Off for coffee, hope everyone else has a better start!Paddle #8 DFW Nerd #12840 -
Thanks Ted, what would I do without you
its so easy to forget all the positives when they are shoving carp (not the fish) down your throat! I've already sent the "stop ringing me you eejit" letter, but I think I'm going to have to try again with a threat of the OFT.
Had a yummy !!!!!! on Friday night, with a couple of cold cans of lager which went down a treat! We've decided its ok if our DFD gets pushed back a couple of months to allow us a takeaway on payday :rotfl:Paddle #8 DFW Nerd #12840
