Yes it's been a Silly Sunday! Well done PDD :T (still not sure how we get them, but Hey!)
Morning All
Just off to work in a more sober mood but have to phone RBS first, let you all know how I get on. I don't know how I got two stars either, but hey ho there you go. Have a good one:AMore than Two Years in

Just had to tell you all about RBS.
They have "procedures" she at first tried to make out they were legal procedures but I was having none of it. They won' t chase until you are "delinquent" for 30 days then they will send you a cessation of service letter then in a further 28 days they will default you. They meantime will keep adding interest to your account but "very good of them" won't add late payment or over limit fees at this time. This is their system and it seems to me they just want to get another couple of months interest, and in fact I am being penalised even more for previously having a totally unblemished record of payment. So we will be paying interest to RBS for three months while they do their "procedures". God Help me again!!More than Two Years in

:T Thanks
CCCS won't let me have a DMP with them because i stopped paying them last year and Payplan said they are strict. Payplan won't help me because me debt is less than £8k.
So i've set up a Netwest Step account, to get away from Barclays as they are stealing money from my account now for the Barclaycard.
Next step is to fix my printer (lol) and get some initial letters written up using the template Payplan emailed to me. Do i need to make a token payment with this letter?
My total debt is around £3.5k, will get the exact figure tonight i'm just on with setting up my new spreadsheet.
I'm not working at the moment either, have a 6yr old boy and 9 week old baby girl, was made redundant last year, and OH left me when 5 months preg and isn't paying maintenance (in fact has left his job last week, i think CSA got him...)
I'm getting automated phone calls 20+ times a day, although not as many since B.Card took £120 out of my account last week
edit - thanks i will check out that thread too, will subscribe to both :T0 -
HI PDD, RBS are one of mine, like big style so following your journey with interest (pardon the pun!)..so far they have only said they have no facilities to freeze the account re the overdraft so charges will continue... all quiet from their loan dept though...not sure If I'm a deliquent yet or not!!! I too have had an excellent record with them so far......
It appears to mean nothing because you therefore take longer to become "delinquent". I've got the collections phone number if you are feeling brave, saves you going through the palaver on the phone and the woman was quite polite once she realised that I didn't come down with the last rain, and she didn't try to pressurise me to pay more, she at least accepted the situation:AMore than Two Years in

Unplug the phone, send token payments if payments are due soon £1 each til you've got everything sorted out for regular payments and try and remember that it's only money....0
