One thing I assume I dont move the DD for my loan over to my new account but leave it where it is?
That's what I wondered. I will give PayPlan a call and see what they say. Might also phone Co-Op and see what is happening with my request. Hopefully they will have the physical bank request on record.Paddle No 21 :wave:0 -
Good Morning lovely peeps
Not good here though:mad:hsbc called at 8am, dd answered arhhh after being on hold for ever said dmp proposal was not accepted, they'd take me off their calling list for a couple of weeks- well thanks a ****ing bunch but letters and charges etc would continue, said nothing was going to change and we'd be paying what we can afford through the dmp. Also asked if we couldn't borrow something from friends or family to help us out. Should they be suggesting we borrow more? We are not telling anyone if we can avoid it, keep the stress to ourselves iykwim.
Was quite positive after yesterdayand mbna appearing to acceppt it, what will we do if the other 12 ( I know 12:eek:) Say no too. I know are payments are low, and will go up if dh gets a new job, which he's trying to and if i can get a job when ds1 starts school( not that I think I'll get one, just feel I'm too crap (not carp) fat and rubbish and it breaks my heart to think ds won't get dropped off and picked up by his mum after he's come with me everyday for the last 2 years to drop off dd)
Sorry sorry off loading on you all. Hiding and crying on computer rather than infront of little ones and dh. Well whats the worst that can happen, dca...likely....ccj...possible....charging order on house.....get in line behind the negative equity?.....Its just money and we are doing our best to pay it back.
What state am I going to be in when the post comes and the next phone call arrives. Sorry everyone, xDMP mutual support thread member 371LBM Jan 2010DMP Paddle No 20 -
aw mama it will be fine, most of ours have beeb fine and we owe a veritable mountain, trust me and have 22 creditors!!!. This is the hard bit when you are at the mercy of all of these b%&&@% banks. It is really not in their interest to refuse as they would get nothing if they made you BR so I just don't get it they seem to do things like that for fun, what is the point, do they expect you to win the lottery tomorrow? Chin up they can't have what you haven't got. Egg were among the first to agree ours and I had an email from them this morning to saying my statement was available online, they added on 117 interest!!! I phoned and the very nice lady told me they would stop interest but not until CCCS pays the first payment and no they wouldn't refund this lot they would just add to balance. Seems they just can't resist taking one last bite out of us. You will be fine and make the most of the time with the kids, you NEVER get this time back and its really important to savour. This is from career lady who never really took time off when having the children, they are fine but I regret not spending the time, honestlyMore than Two Years in

Hiya Mama - I agree with PDD, they can't have what you haven't got and yes the barstewards are going to try and push all your buttons, I think they try to make people feel like s**t. If you're making payments they won't get anywhere with charging orders etc so please don't worry about that.
I worked up until a year ago and missed out so much of DS's childhood - he's 9 now and I'm not missing another moment. Your family has to come first my lovely and if you want to work, something part time will come up, it'll all be ok. Massive hugs :grouphug:

hiya
unfortuntatley they will try all types of tactics, but i would certainly complain to their head office about the suggestions and the disgusting methods they try to get you to borrow more and this is against the OFT guidelines in itself, so report them too to OFT
this is the reason i no longer talk to my creditors by phone, i have the truecall device which has really brought home the peace and sanity back to my house, it was worth the 100.00 im not plugging this for any other reason other than i know what you are feeling i was there a year ago and believe me i feel so much better - mind you the letters will arrive faster but hey ho, you have space and time to reflect on your replies and not feel any longer being hounded in your own home
have you had a look at the national debtline site too, its got helpful info and they will send you out a big book too with all sorts of info to help and letters to send back to your creditors good luck and above all keep positive
take care all mazSealed Pot Challenge member 1525

Truecall device, stops all the unneccesary phone calls - my sanity has been restored and the peace in the house is truely priceless!:rotfl:0 -
Nataz, calmness my pet, read my post about Egg above, your DH's will probably be the same situation. I did try to see if there was any way to stop charges, girl was really nice but hands tied etc, I think we will just have to swallow this one until the CCCS payment goes through.More than Two Years in

Losing I would send the notification letters to all except Natwest (keep them in the dark till your wages and DDs are all changed over) might as well get the ball rolling then you can just send small token payments till your DMP starts in either Apr or May.
I think you can now do TV licence online, as well as water (or at least you can with Northumbrian water). BT you cant do online, which saying you can do everything else online is very very annoying  (can you tell I hate BT). Cant help with the rest, but Im sure it wont take you long. Most have call centres that open early and close late, can you make calls outside of work?
Dont worry about Natwest, I did exactly the same with them as your doing and they havent played hard ball so I guess they dont really care.
I noticed you're with Eon, what tariff are you on. Im on one of their online savers and is so cheap - I'll try and find out what one if you like.
Cant believe how in control you're starting to sound, so different to just a week ago. Keep going, we're all with you
Happy Friday all!
I wont tell Natwest then until the last minute - when I send the DMP agreement back to CCCS shoould I do a covering letter asking them not to contact Natwest until the last possible moment until I have sorted out the DDs? Gonna sort a couple more DDs out at lunchtime today - its like a second job all this admin!
I have a question:- Do CCCS ( or anyone else for that matter) ever ask to see your new bank account at any stage (ie; when they review the plan etc)? I only ask because if at any stage in the plan you put a large sum of money in for any reason (for example I do a big eBay clearout every couple of months and can sometimes put as much as £500-£600, or if I get birthday money etc) and they later ask for 12 months or 6 months bank statements, this would look a bit bad that you hadnt declared this money. Also with the new accoutn I have just depoisted £900 into it from the overdraft (naughty) to cover me until I get paid as some ofthe DDs have already changed ot the new bank.
I wouldn't want to be going along with the plan swimmingly for months and then have to disclose bank statements to anyone which may or may not show that I have more money than I should. Its not neceessarily that I will, but Im just planning ahead - I dont want to get done for fraud or deception or anything like that! Cheers xxx0
