Hi Gibbs when I spoke to the CAB they said they look at all options so the guy may well have mentioned bankruptcy as one option they can help you with, although as PDD said, its a million miles away from a DMP! Did PayPlan suggest a DMP?

Suppose I best spill a bit of info on me as well :)

Im 29, married to my lovely DH for 5yrs been together 10. Got two kiddies, DD whos 2 1/2 and DS whos 8 mths. Im 100% Geordie and live in the Tyne Valley in Northumberland. Used to be a pharmacy tech but now Im a stay at home mum (in other words a very important chief exec!!) I love books, footy, wine, tracing my family tree and insane things like abseiling of the Tyne bridge whilst pregnant!

And in my spare time I run weekly Aldi challenges :rotfl:!!

So glad to see that everyone is getting so much from this thread. I wasnt sure if anyone would reply when I started, but now I feel like if I ever need some advice or a shoulder to cry on, I can step into MSE world and all is well again :grouphug:

p.s. how come you all have so much time to chat ;)

Wow! Didn't realise I'd created such a buzz! Lol! :rotfl:

I promise it'll be the best 1p you spend! ;)

And don't let my fancy work address fool you, working in London only adds to debt problems, everything is so expensive and you have to be 'seen' to be on-trend etc. etc. Having said that walking down Carnaby St everyday is lovely :)

Received my Sainsburys CC bill, no mention of DMP. Should I phone up or just send token payment with letter before CCCS payment kicks in in March? Hmmmmm

PDD SO envious of your trip to Barcelona, am desperate to visit....sigh.

You know the same author has a follow up? It's called Angels Game, a friend bought for Xmas but I haven't got round to reading yet.

In the mood for a good chick-lit - any recommendations? (and of course I've read the entire shopaholic series! Lol!)

Just one more book recommendation before I go,The Time Travelers Wife, it's amazing but will break your heart (I cried. A lot)
