£70 in Sid the Snail, True? That's fantastic :T.... shame Mr Fat Cat the Banker has to get his mitts on it, but yay to the o/d going once and for all :j.

Getting the OD down to under £400 :j makes True a happy girly :D

New Aldi challenge...as they are basket free (well the ones round here are!) how many items can you balance on top of the hood bit of a buggy before precious little one gets wind of what you are doing, pulls the hood and sends all items flying across the floor. Only went in for the 39p leeks I read about on here. DS successfully scattered and battered all my bargain fruit and veg! :o
Trying not to think about dmp today and what might go wrong, going to stop reading frightening threads too and stay positive PMA?! Watch the phone start ringing!

I may try that challenge mamajojo :D

Do stay away from the scary threads. I read all sorts when I was starting my DMP back in Dec/Jan. So far it has gone really well. MBNA, Cap1 and Egg have all accepted and frozen interest. I have still to hear from Marbles, Mint and Tesco, but they have all stopped phoning and the postie is no longer laden down with sackloads of mail from angry creditors. I am amazed at how easy it has been so far and wish that I had done this years ago. I have not felt this positive about things for years :j

My Tesco's did that the other day! Turns out they've hidden them behind the special offers! Why?? Silly people....

  • Thanks for explaining True, I'm with CCCS and from what I've read on here they don't seem to mind if you go for F&F with creditors, as it gets it all paid back quicker. But if you make an extra payment through them then they just pro rata it between the creditors. Not that I'm in that situation yet, But hopefully one day ......

    Hi All!

Unfortunately a fleeting visit from me today, but just want to say, I do read every one of your posts and wish you all lots of luck with your DMP....I'm certain we'll all make it out the other side (and be much better for it :j )

I don't have anything to report, got my shiny new NatWest debit card (with no O/D hurrah!) but that's about it.

    Happy Tuesday

  • Afternoon

nothing happening here either, maybe they've all just given up and gone away (I wish). Much more peaceful to-day and haven;t felt inclined to rant once, speaking of scary threads, the ones about lloyds tsb really worry me, they seem just not to want to co-operate with anyone, anyone heard of a lloyds DMP acceptance without any problems?????

  • I've only got a credit card with Lloyds, owe them around £1500, and they've gone very quiet... In fact not a peep since I sent my letter telling them I was with CCCS.

Thanks iwillgetoutofdebt you've made me feel all:j too, good to hear mbna and egg have accepted, hope they play nicely with us too! Wish we'd done it years ago, the money we've pumped into servicing the debt and oh it doesn't bear thinking about, but we're all heading in the right direction! Thanks:T
