LOL don't worry VicB it takes a while hanging around the boards to pick up the lingo!! F & F means "full and final" as in a settlement figure to a creditor. DH is Darling Husband, OH is Other Half, DS is Darling Son etc!
Well done on giving blood too, cuppa tea and a biscuit and you'll soon be ok!
Hope everyone is having a good Monday - I'm just building up for a trip to the Post Office and to collect a probably rather muddy DB from footy training!!
Ah Ha! Thanks True, I thought it was something to do with Husband! Is DB boyfriend? I have one of those :lovethoug
Home time soon, I wonder if they'll be any letters waiting for me :eek:Paddle No 16

Insurance companies are bloody useless! You've done everything you should and then THEY mess it up... :mad:Paddle No 16

Ah DB, thats an interesting one - I occasionally use it as Darling Boy, referring to my son but following the logic I guess it could also be Darling Boyfriend, which DH was until November before which I used DB for Dearest Bloke :rotfl: in short I guess I'm trying to say that DB is still open for argument LOLPaddle #8 DFW Nerd #12840

Hi all, just been reading through the last few days, everyone is doing so well!
Im a bit gutted today - had to take my rabbit to the vet today and it cost £95!!! that was our food shopping money for the rest of the month, so its going to be beans on toast for us for the next 20 days until we get paid
arggggghhh - My bunnuh is insured but what it had done wasnt covered in the insurance! S**t happens - this month was going sooo well as well.
Thinking positively - at least it didnt go on a credit card - which it would have done 2 or 3 months ago!0 -

oh well i suppose they are only doing their jobs !!!
hope everybody is doing ok xx0 -
Evening all, this thread is buzzing
.
Well done peeps, some good results coming through :T. Confirmed with CCCS that they received my 1st payment and that the direct debt is in place for March payment.... oooooh, it's finally happening :T.
Forgot who posted it, but don't be embarrassed to give your reasons for setting up a DMP. If it's down to reduced income, then fine just state that. Good luck with it
Tedsd, glad your feeling better now over those dreaded letters. Just stick with us kid and you'll be fine.
Well done on giving blood VicB - feel icky just thinking about it!
Well done True on getting out to the PO and book-fair :T! A nice cool glass of well-deserved GUINNESS heading your way... it's on the house.
PDD - have you typed those letters yet? You seem to have been on this board for a considerable amount of time today.
Kaths, hope mr/miss bunny is gonna be ok even though you're purse has taken a hit.
misscdc, some of these call centre agents have such a snotty attitude! Even if they are only doing their job, there are ways of conducting yourself and speaking to customers. You'd think that you personally owed her the money!!! Well, you took the wind out of the Santander lady's sails, good for you :rotfl:.
