Oh I love the idea of stress-free Tuesday!! Great to see a smile on your "face" Ted :D

I've been making a PAD (payment a day) into a special MSE snail (called Sidney :D) for about 3 weeks now and for the first time Sid is all full up :j!! I can empty him and I can take his contents to the bank and bye bye £70 of overdraft :j  :j

Loving this new found confidence, really loving it! MASSIVE thanks to you guys, its great just to pop on here and *see* you all :D

New Aldi challenge...as they are basket free (well the ones round here are!) how many items can you balance on top of the hood bit of a buggy before precious little one gets wind of what you are doing, pulls the hood and sends all items flying across the floor. Only went in for the 39p leeks I read about on here. DS successfully scattered and battered all my bargain fruit and veg! :o
Trying not to think about dmp today and what might go wrong, going to stop reading frightening threads too and stay positive PMA?! Watch the phone start ringing!

  • True27 - Are you on a DMP? If so I thought extra payments weren't allowed? Or have I go that wrong?
  • Afternoon all, glad your all having a positive day :T. All quiet here today, no letters or phone calls, so nothing new to update :)

Thanks tedsd, look forward to seeing you in April , the CCCS wagon won't leave without you :D.

£70 in Sid the Snail, True? That's fantastic :T.... shame Mr Fat Cat the Banker has to get his mitts on it, but yay to the o/d going once and for all :j.

Welcome Chrisblue1962 and Achelois, help yourself to refreshments  :D.

Hiya newbeginning I'm just starting out on a self-managed DMP, sent my letters yesterday so that's how I'm getting around the rules. I'm still going to keep feeding Sid once my DMP has been accepted, although anything that goes into him will be paid into a savings account which I'm going to set up with a view to making F&F's. I think you can make extra payments on a DMP but if you send the extra dosh to CCCS (or whoever) then they will spread it out pro-rata to your creditors. Might be very wrong however, so I'd check before you start making extra payments :)
