Don't panic about Next, this is exactly what happened to me. When I spoke to them on the phone they said they hadn't received anything from CCCS and when I told them the amount they accepted straight away and then sent a letter confirming details which I had to sign and send back.

The total balance with them was £800, I was paying around £70 per month but the CCCS payments are £15, which is what they accept.

HTH. Do give them a call if you can x

Thank Vic, as I am phone phobic I will continue to email them LOL! My amounts are almost exactly the same as yours, balance about 700.00 paying 65.00 per month and offered 13.02

Ooh that's quite interesting, Next are one of ours. We were paying about £30 a month, it's going down to about £4.50, interesting to see how they take it.
  • Hi all, wow so muich goes on n this forum when you dont go on for a few days! I have logged onto the DMP login on CCCS today and was shocked to find that in the debtors section where it shows all your creditors and the amounts owed, everyting is more than i thought, after working out my total debt is £38,890 I now find that CCCS have obviously gotten final totals from them and my total debt now stands at £43,548.82!!!!!!! I borrowed £7,500 from Tesco Loan and paid one payment, but it looks as though they have added the full term interest and the amount now owed to Tesco Loan is nearly £11,000!!! And the original Natwest Credit Card and Overdraft totals are more as well, looks as though they have been added interest. Not happy at all, as I now owe almost £5000 than I did a month ago!!!! :-( :-( :-( SHould I speak to CCCS or just leave it? All token payments have gone now, I have notified them all, and they have all been notified of the DMP by CCCS, it starts on 1st April. Natwest Current Accoutn accepted, Virgin (MBNA) didnt accept the offered payment although they have agreed to put me on a reduced financial hardship plan or some such, and Capital One have agreed to freeze interest and put me on a reduced payment plan. Still waiting to hear from Natwest Credit Card, Tesco Loan, Halifax and Egg. This isnt going as well as I though and I think I underestimated my budget somewhat as well, I cant even afford to buy new knickers!!!!!!! Feeling very sorry for myself so thought I would have a rant on here, thanks guys, hope all is well with you x

Losing please, please don't panic, we've all been their (HSBC are being complete B*****ds with me!) sending you HUGS :grouphug:

It does sound like you're getting somewhere with people accepting etc. so that's a good thing love. Personally I wouldn't worry too much about your total amount, the most important thing is that it's going down each month :) If you'd have stayed where you were it wouldn't have changed...or worse, kept going up!

Maybe call CCCS and chat through it with them, but I really wouldn't worry too much about that total, I know, I'm just focussing on my total reducing each month. And hopefully once some of the 0% ones kick in you'll really see a difference.

Worth speaking to CCCS about budget too, or looking on some of the threads on here to see if you can get any groceries/utility bills cheaper?

    HTH x

Some of our totals went up when they appeared on the CCCS site, I checked them all with the statements as they arrived and made adjustments as and some of them were completely out including my crap one which was £1100 out!!!. So don't panic and have a look when you receive your next statement. I adjust ours everytime I receive a statement so that I alsways have the correct total on the CCCS website. If you are having difficulties with the budget I think you need to get that fixed now, cos its not going to get easier, but you must be able to live.

Thanks guys, only thing is I cant check my statements as I am a proper internet girly and have always conducted EVERYTHING online so dont get paper statements and half the accounts have been (helpfully!) taken offline so I cant even access my accounts / statements etc. And I DEFINITELY do not want want to ring them as I turn into a nervous wreck and start crying and nearly have a heart attack, I can't cope, I am a really bad phone phobic!!!

My SOA was posted on here at some point and I never figured at the time when I did it I put the clothes budget at £10 per month. I forgot that obviously I need to buy socks and undies for me and my son and like deoderant, make-up (im a receptionist and i NEED it lol) and stuff for school and shoes, all that. He is 11 and grows real fast! Oh gosh I dont wanna start the DMP and thern all of a sudden say "actually I cant afford that, I need to reduce it by, like, £50 a month! COs that about what I need really.

I am paying £217 a month on a £43000 debt and my DFD according to CCCDS is 2027.:eek::eek: If I pay less Im gonna be dead before all this is paid off - and no nice knickers! lol
  • oh, and also there is no way I can really reduce anything in my SOA as I already have the cheapest utilities, phone, everything, given up smoking, takeaways, going out, cinema, even renting films. My life is so miserable and my son is gonna suffer in the Easter Hols when we are off work but cant do anything that costs money. there is no way can get this down. If I can find it in my old posts I wll copy it on here again and see if anyone has any suggestions? As after I have paid all normal outgoings plus CCCS I have about £17 a week to live on and I cant do it. :(

Hi nothing much to report - not heard from Halifax CCCS have suggested I ring them but just need to pluck up courage. Should have called them after I rang B Card while I was on a roll. Now I have convinced myself not hearing that it is gonna be bad news as other 3 creditors replied really quickly. On a positive note its pay day tomorrow and I have £60 spare in my bank. :j Would have been another £53 if I hadnt messed up changing my DD dates with the gas man Nevermind we live and learn
