  • Morning

Vic - Totally agree, my phones stopped ringing and I feel a bit lost.

Losing - I know how you feel, some days I think what's the point in trying, like when the Lloyds statement arrived, but I realise that if I didn't do this now then things would have only got worse, for me it's seeming worse cos the kids are off school soon and I just don't have the pennies to do anything with them, there is a post somewhere on here about free/very cheap thing to do with the kiddies so I'll have to find that and have a look!!, agree with others re giving CCCS a call, they're really understanding. Have you got a primark near you? £1 for 3 pairs of socks for the kids, my washing machine seems to eat them so we get through a few.

I've had a letter from Credit Solutions this morning 'acting on behalf of Crapital One' anyone know if it's still Capital one? Also got one from MBNA saying they've had no contact from us and to give them a ring and settle the arrears over the phone with Debit Card - Yeah okay then :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Anyway, I've a rare free day today and plan to use it decluttering/selling my rubbish on ebay so if you see me loitering anywhere give me a nudge!!

Nope, not just you! Tumble dryer went kaput over here, but I think we've decided not to replace it - very green-MSE of me I think!

Well DS's buggy is on its last wheels, so first job when get paid tomorrow is buy a new one! He also needs new shoes, and the car is due its service and MOT next month… Luckily we're just doing token payments at the moment, so have the extra for now. Hopefully nothing big will happen once the actual DMP kicks in.

I haven't used my tumble dryer or dishwasher in about 2 months now, meter was read yesterday so I can't wait to see our new monthly payment. I was using the dryer at least twice a day and the dishwasher once but now we use the hot water thats already there and stuff the clothes on the radiaitors or hang outside. I have even been known to sweep the floor instead of vacuuming, exercise and money saving!!:j

Wish I could say the same, but the weather is against me and has been for ages now!! Piles of washing are building up now, as soon as the sun comes out, I'll be chained to the washing machine!!

We don't have any outdoor space but I have a huge airer from Lakeland that I love and that works really well - even with three of us, including a very messy toddler who's in cloth nappies!

We have a washer/dryer now for the first time (it's the landlord's) and I use it every couple of weeks to just do ten minutes on the towels and nappies to soften them, but apart from that don't need it at all.

I gave up the tumble dryer too, love the smell of washing off the line... except when people have barbeques and there is manure in the air!!!!

I know, there is a lot of manure in the air here, theres a field behind my house gets a good spraying every spring but its just unavoidable anywhere here:rotfl:

We also have a protected native hedge, so the (hundreds of) birds love to perch on the line and s**t on the washing:rotfl:
