Great news Prof!! I hope this reasonableness (is that a word?) is spreading - especially for VicB, she seems to be taking the brunt of HSBC's wrath atm, poor love!

Well I've written my letters, enveloped them but can't go to the Post Office yet because hubby pulled a really useful stunt this morning and raided my purse *rolleyes* and I can't be bothered to drive all the way to the closest non-charging cash machine!! Oh well, do it later!

Bored now though. Anyone got any interesting news?

I was going to hold off until DH gets his first salary from the new job, but I've already been waiting since December, couldn't wait until June!!

Ooh I have a question about full and finals actually.

A couple of our debts are really quite small, just a few hundred pounds. If we saved that up, could we pay off the whole of that debt, and just up all the other amounts on the DMP payments? Would we go through the DMP company for that? Seems unfair on the larger creditors if they're not the ones that get extra amounts, but obviously it would be great to get the overall number of creditors down!

This is all really hypothetical as to whether we'd ever be in a position to do that, but it's nice to think of these things!

I don't think CCCS have too much of a problem with F&F, I plan to do the same with the ones that are still charging interest and charges (crapone and Lloyds).

Lloyds CC statement just arrived, they get £8.60 from CCCS and they've slapped on £52.60 interest and charges.:mad:

    Hi True,

Its as a legal secretary type thing, i should hear by Friday.... If i get it it means i could either save up for full and finals on my credit cards and then just have my loan to pay for as its rather hefty, or at least increase my payments.

If there is someone up there i hope its looking down on me :A

That's insane, surely they can see there's no way for you to ever pay that off.

How long has this been going on for? Are they likely to stop charges at some point do you think?

One of our small ones is Cap One, if they're as bad as they sound could be a very good idea to try and f&f them asap.

Thats just insane. Lets hope they pass it to a DCA soon, then you might have a chance of repaying! I really don't understand how they think that is acceptable, I mean they are just making MORE of a loss by charging you interest that you'll never be able to repay!! To think, we own Lloyds....
