don't know where you live, but there's no way you can get that many flowers for £3 around here......

Same here. You got Asda I guess which sometimes do ones around £4-5 ... so if you post them that would equate to about £6-7 ... just like we're paying for valueflora!

Just got our August flowers this afternoon & what a disgusting bunch of Lillie's
They have royally rip all of us off of here & even the box stated Value of £10 when the promotion was £30 worth of flowers

I have emailed twice, sent a message via Live chat, faxed them & texted them but still no response
Shame I paid via Nochex otherwise I would be claiming back the money

Here's the bunch of flowers we got

    I've been Money Tipped!
I am also very very disappointed, they were not only a small cheap bunch, but also were already dying and smelt very bad.

I thought they had a phone number on the web site, but just looked for it and they seem to have taken it down.

Don't give up guys, keep on complaining, you all deserve some recompense.

I was going to go for these too but decided not to, glad I didn't!

Let us know if you manage to get in contact with them!!!

    EDIT

Have you tried e-mailing russ@valueflora.com who is apparently the managing director of the company. See http://www.valueflora.com/russell-hirst.html

From the looks of him, its some young whipper-snapper who has started his own business up. I'm all for young people starting businesses, thats what my day job is, but to not have responded to peoples complaints is a joke!!!

I (unfortunately) signed up for the year's worth of flowers offer and had my first bunch arrive in July.

They were, frankly, rubbish and I e-mailed them to tell them how disapointed I was with them and they apologised and sent out another bunch, which to be fair, was better.

However, having had 2 lots now, I honestly think this was some sort of scam. There is no way the flowers they send out are worth anything near the original advertised price of £25/bunch. Even at the "sale" price of £8/bunch I would say that they were vastly overpriced.

It sounds to me like they have taken a £5 bunch of flowers (because that's about all they're worth), advertised them at £25/bunch and them done a "superb" deal on them by reducing that to £8/bunch.

Wow, that's an excellent deal...people think...£25 worth of flowers for £8. Where do I sign....Well, my advice is, don't.

I would actually be very surprised if I get all 12 bunches I paid for, as ValueFlora are getting themselves a really poor reputation, and these days your reputation is everything.

And it sounds to me like they are being inundated with complaints, so much so that they aren't even bothering to answer them now.

Anyway, if I had the chance again, I would steer well clear.

    Kevin.

I bought the £99 flowers for a year too. My first delivery looked disappointing but when the flowers opened up after a day or two they were much better ( although not admittedly worth the £25 they were supposed to be).

My second delivery, expected towards the end of August, had actually arrived on the 19th when I was on holiday. They had been delivered by the postman and left "in a safe place".

I emailed Valueflora when I got home to say the flowers had arrived early and that they were past their best ( they were white lillies), and I did get a response from Russell offering a replacement bunch.

The replacement, Sunflowers, arrived a few days later and are fine.

So they certainly do respond to complaints in a positive manner, and I think that for £80 ish net of Quidco it is not such a bad deal - would have been wonderful if we had received a huge courier delivered bouquet each month - but let's see how the next few months go and at least give them a chance........
  • Arg, I ordered some flowers yesterday to say thank you to someone. I hope they turn out to be ok. I choose there choice bouqet or what ever it's called the ones they get to pick. It cost £10 but I found a £5 coupon for them :) Just lets hope there ok.

I put a thread up about this deal up too, and today got a reply where people are complaining about their bunches! It wasn't my fault MSErs! I'm actually very pleased with mine! I ordered their red roses, and another for different one for two friends and they were thrilled.
I suppose it's how you perceive things isn't it!

A Bargain is only a bargain if you need it!

  • I got my first bunch at the very end of August & to be fair they were very nice. The same bunch round here would have cost at least £15-£20. I got Lillies, Roses & lots of other flowers too in a wonderful bouquet. Don't know how to add a photo to here but they have opened out wonderful, defintley worth the money - hope the other months are the same!

  • I received my second bunch (if you can call two stems a bunch!) of flowers yesterday. I bought this for my mum thinking that she would really enjoy getting flowers each month but so far it has just been embarrassing. Although the two stems received do have more than 1 flower on them each I do not believe that you can sell 2 stems as a bouquet.

I havent complainted yet.... what responses are poeple getting?
