Hi, Martin’s asked me to post this in these circumstances: For legal reasons codes are not permitted on the Grabbit board and have been moved. If in doubt please read this and this for an explanation. If you have any questions about this policy please email abuse@moneysavingexpert.com.0

I apologise redfox, I didn't realise I wasn't supposed to putcodes on the grabbit board! Teach me to read the rules!
Sorry shaunwiltshire, I don't agree with you about the flowers, every one I've had from them has been really nice.
Tallyho, you have to pay the lot upfront, but they've been going for a few years now, so I think it's safe. The flowers you get are the ones in season that month, if I was your wife I'd be thrilled!I Believe in saving money!!!:T

Has anyone else received their second bunch yet? My recipient received the first bunch towards the end of July (ordered at the start of July) which we were both quite pleased with, but at the weekend (what I assume) is the second bunch turned up. The first surprise of course was how early they have been delivered this month.
By comparisson to the last bunch, pricing on their site and indeed high street pricing, it is very disappointing - 6 stems of Lillies with a total of 10 heads and one stem of foilage. It looks bare to say the least, and for just under £10 on their website they offer 8 stems of Lillies with approximately 25 heads; a huge difference given these cost just a little less at £8.25.
I emailed them to complain on Saturday expecting a reply on Monday but didn't hear back. I have followed up today and received an automated reply saying they are moving servers and to expect delays of up to four days for replies.
Just wondering if anyone else has received a bunch for the second month yet - or could this just be a glitch in the system?
Cheers,

My wife says, and I have to agree, they are quite simply rubbish. For a supposed £25 "bouquet", it is laughable. Even at the sale price of £8.33 it appears to be very poor value.
I have included a photo for people to see, maybe other people's flowers were significantly nicer, but I judge this to be a waste of £100 and I won't be recomending them to anyone.
Cheers,

Currently (until end of August), http://www.ValueFlora.com have a deal for £99 that gives you a bouquet every month for a year including delivery.
Normal price is £299.
This makes it £8.25 a month for no effort point scoring with the other half/mother/mother-in-law etc.
If that is not enough, they have 20% discount through quidco which makes it £79.99 a year i.e. £6.66 a month.
If that is not enough, sign up for their Petalpoints and receive 10p rewards for every £1 you spend i.e. a further 10% on further orders.
If all of this is not enough, the Petalpoints (when I just ordered this for the girlfriend) are accumulated on the basis of the original RRP i.e. the £299 - meaning that I have £30 worth of reward points that I can apply towards another transaction (not quite figured out how to do this mind).
You could go one stage better and pay by credit card (paying off immediately of course) that pays cashback e.g. Egg - but I'' let you do your own maths on this.
Value Flora's website says:
"Flowers for a Year (August ’06 to July ’07)
Amazing Summer Deal!
Normally £299.99
NOW ONLY £99.99
Save £200 on this monthly flower delivery! Simply quote MPP when ordering for your £200 discount. This super summer saver is limited in availability so please order now to avoid disappointment.
A fantastic collection of flowers will be delivered each month for a whole year. Thats just £8.33 per month! The flowers will vary each month and will usually consist of our flower variety of the month. The first bouquet will be delivered by the end of August 2006, with subsequent deliveries arriving towards the end of each month too. The same card message will be delivered with each bouquet. The delivery address can only be ammended once in the 12 month period (for example, if the recipient moves house).

What nonsense.
Don't do it if you don't want to. It makes no odds to me.
I was just sharing an offer that I found when looking to buy my girlfriend some flowers.
How is this any different to any other offers found and posted?
You are misguided and worryingly cynical.
Do as you wish but I will have a very pleased girlfriend and have saved myself a bundle.[STRIKE]Something witty[/STRIKE]0
