Let us know what they say mate.

I NEVER buy the GF flowers, but for £80 for a years supply I was considering it and I am the original tight !!!!!! so it must be cheap.

But looking at that bunch in the picture, I could get better for £3 from the local market!!!

Thanks KevinM for taking the time to put the picture on, I'm glad you did. I agree the flowers are not up to much. I thought it would have been nice to send free flowers to my Nan for a year, but looking at those I'd say they're too old-fashioned for her and she's 86! I hope you can get your money back or something.

OK I have just e-mailed valueflora the following letter. I tried to be polite, but still pushy enough to get my message accross.

    Dear Sir,

I recently took advantage of your "Flowers for a Year" promotion, as your advertised sale from £299.99 to just £99.99 seemed like a very good offer.

However, the first month's flowers arrived recently and my wife, who they are for, is not at all impressed with them, and I have to say that I agree with her completely.

Firstly, I have attached a photograph (jpg) I took of them recently so that you can see what I mean.

At your original price of £25 (£300/12 months), this bunch would have been vastly over-priced, but even at your discounted price of £8.33 for the bunch, I can honestly say that I consider them to be poor value.

    1. The flowers barely fill a small to medium sized vase.
    2. There is little to no colour/contrast in the selection, especially as this is the height of the Summer and there is a vast range of multi-coloured flowers available right now.
    3. About half of the content is "filler" type plant designed to add bulk.

Overall, I feel that, for the same money, I could have chosen a larger, more vibrant and exciting bunch by simply visiting my local Tesco or Sunday market.

I would be interested to hear your thoughts and comments.

My order number is xxxxxxxxxxxx if you need to check on my particular order.

    Regards,

I shall let you know what, if any, is their reply.

    Cheers,
    Kevin.
  • I hope they do not have the cheek to come back with 'there is fiver p&p built into the 8.33 so the flowers are good value at 3.33'. Good luck!
They say you can't put a value on life... but I live it at half price!
  • for what its worth, I signed up to the deal, got a similar looking bunch and GF is happy with the flowers. They are not flashy or big, but there are some unusual flowers in a tasteful arrangement, and they are lasting very well. For £9 including postage I think its a good deal, would not pay 25 though.

If you go to https://www.valueflora.com and look on the home page, there is an offer for a year's supply of flowers (1 bouquet a month) for £99.99 instead of £299.99! Use the code IW2B101 and you get them for £94.99, which is £7.92 a month. I thought about it for a few days, then decided that sometimes you have to spoil yourself! (I'm always spending my money on other people, never on me)
I have used valueflora before, and they are good.

Do they take the money up front or on a monthly basis ?
Last time I spent upfront on a 12 month offer the firm went bust along with my supposed monthly goods & payment
