its been posted several times before but hasnt been mentioned for a while so thanks.

Secondly, the code mentioned is on the valueflora itself. Its almost a marketting ploy to get people to buy. So no need to worry about code issues.

The surprise really is the 20% on quidco.

The other posts about the flowers are less than complimentary though - so it may not be as good a bargain as it sounds.

the first one wasnt fantastic but tbh it was better than what i expected, after reading some MSE threads.

The second arrangement arrived a few days ago and were lillies ... not bad at all and definitely worth more than £6.66.

Here are some other comments from other threads on this Valueflora offer:

My wife says, and I have to agree, they are quite simply rubbish. For a supposed £25 "bouquet", it is laughable. Even at the sale price of £8.33 it appears to be very poor value.

By comparisson to the last bunch, pricing on their site and indeed high street pricing, it is very disappointing - 6 stems of Lillies with a total of 10 heads and one stem of foilage. It looks bare to say the least, and for just under £10 on their website they offer 8 stems of Lillies with approximately 25 heads; a huge difference given these cost just a little less at £8.25.

The flowers are not very good.

I received mine today and you could of bought a nicer bunch at a local shop for £3.99. There isn't many stems in the bunch and it looks like a few weeds which a 3/4 year old would pick in a garden.

all unopened buds (Yellow/Orange), so they'll last a while
Very few stems more like a £4.99 bunch from a supermarket, not as pictured or the true value of £25.00 a bunch as I was lead to believe

very annoyed. Could have bought nicer myself.
Delivered by post, guernsey flowers I think.
Very angry, not what I thought I was signing up for

I gotta say they looked... rubbish! All a mix of yellowy orangey flowers and all looking not far off dead. Really not impressed at all...

You'd think that people post here for their own good given given the attitude of some MSErs. I'm very pleased to have made a few people happy.

A note for some of you: money saving and manners are not mutually exclusive.

    Have a good day all.

Firstly, as others have told you - there are already a couple of threads on this "bargain" - therefore had you used the search function you would not have had to post this. So do you want a "thank you" for it any way though.

Second, i am merely pointing out that there have been a lot of complaints about the flowers: "rubbish"; "very disappointing"; "not very good"; "looks like a few weeds"; "more like a £4.99 bunch from a supermarket"; "very annoyed" / "very angry"; "not impressed at all".

This site is about money saving - and if the quality of flowers is as bad as is suggested it doesn't seem as if it's either a bargain or a good deal in any sense of the word.

I think the problem people are having is with Valueflora's marketting technique as opposed to the flowers.

The flower deal was never £300 ... as was that piece of furniture you saw the other day with a RRP of 400% the marked down price. It's a marketting technique that I don't personally agree with but hey, realise that a company isn't going to mark down something that much and therefore don't compare your received flowers with a £25 bunch from interflora.

This is valueflora, not interflora. Same as the hilton hotel not Travellodge. I love travelodge they are clean and totally fit for purpose. Valueflora send flowers free of charge to your door, in good packaging, sometimes with free chocolates and are good value for what you pay on your card.

There has been reports of people getting poor flowers. If they are totally unacceptable, the CS reply fast to emails and will send replacements at no cost.

I use Valueflora and I believe they are a bargain (via quidco!!!). My Nanna has received two lots of flowers now, she is happy with them (more so with the second lot, which are lillies). She has been a keen gardener all her life and hasn't said a bad thing about them, with exception to the first ones having no smell! This is the downside of this deal, you can't choose what is sent ... but imho in terms of value it is better than buying individual flowers. This might be a cause for concern for some people who only like certain flowers in which case buy individually, they're still good value.

I suggest people who want to get the monthly flowers, to order a couple of individual ones first to see what quality you are getting for bargain prices.

Regarding their petal point system. This is interesting - you cant use a code they reference at the same time. Therefore it will take several orders (not hundreds like Nectar) before your redemption value exceeds a code they freely provide.
  • I ordered these to start in August but so far have had nothing, has anyone else got these yet this month?
