It isn't on all packages. That just proves you haven't actually read the links given.
More excuses from an incredible poster!
Read the forums, Virgin Media Broadband throttling has been reported on all packages.
Somebody take the spade out of Robt's hand please....he's dug deep enough now!
Why do you defend Virgin so much....Shakespeare comes to mind here.0 -

You mean me - the person who has been right with what they have said all along?
There is no STM on the top package. Fact.
You don't give up when you are shown to be wrong do you? I'm off out now - have fun making sly digs at me.0 -

What authority do you have to quote that statement as FACT???
Internet forums report speed throttling on all Virgin Media broadband packages .0 -

Check the Traffic Management page linked and referred to earlier Haveagoade; it clearly states the traffic management upper DL and UL limits on the page. There is no such thing on the maximum package to the far right of the table compared to your 2mb package on the far left.haveagoade wrote: »Internet forums report speed throttling on all Virgin Media broadband packages.
Which forums? And how is this proof compared to the VM website itself?? Surely presenting this to VM or anyone they'd just refer to the VM site. Not some forum where a random person thinks VM are throttling them and it's not their fault.
Post some links to allow us to see this and then you may find robt may not try and rip you apart as much.
He's obviously taking great joy from it though!

How does the mere Virgin statement of no traffic management on its top package mean there is no traffic management...or indeed make it a FACT. It is a fact that Virgin claim this.....but it does not make it a fact in actuallity and practice.
I can claim I can walk on water...it is indeed a fact that I claim I can walk on water, but I obviously cannot!...same arguement.
There are reports of traffic management on all packages.
Anyway why sidetrack.
The issues are the widespread UK Virgin media broadband speed throttling. Despite misleading Virgin indications for it only to be only a trial and only in certain areas of the UK.
PS when Somebody like Robt says I must have an IQ of 10 then he is instantly subjected to the "FAIL" category....subdivision "EPIC FAIL."0 -
Well if you're going to flame people when they're trying to help you're on your own, and in you're own little world as well it would appar. Believe what you want, but you're a muppet.
Enjoy your 500k broadband connection.

Flaming:rotfl:
So far I've been accused of having an IQ of 10
Now I'm a Muppet
All for daring to speak out against Virgin Media.
Normal consumers dont behave like that to fellow consumers when big cooperations are called into question.
I have ALREADY today complained to the ASA and also Trading Standards BUT if I were to take the advice of some posters...... I would just shut up and go away.
Tough luck I'm not shuting up or going away:)0
