Bonjour All from Hendaye
Just on the border with Spain. Good trip today, better than the murky, misty, fogginess of yesterday, I could look at the scenery.
OS wise breakfast and lunch from food we brought with us, and coffee from flask filled up each evening, however, we have booked a table so we have a hot meal each day, stocked up with mini toiletries, as we take the left overs from one night to the next, and hence have some "new" ones for next trip where we do not get them. (This was a half price offer so slightly upmarket than usual).

Just need to decide on the exact route for tomorrow, it will be weather dependent.
MSD - hope Tris survives his latest adventure, he sure likes to keep you on the edge of your seat.
LW - try mornings, I find a very good time as one gets older;)
Redruby - glad you are getting the house slowly to your standard
Moiliere - sounds like yesterday was manic, it was not a good day to be on the roads for sure.
SG glad everything went as well as they could
n9eav - don't envy you with that one
P-Pin and all others not 100% :grouphug:

Evening,
Diva-hugs for you and Tris
Sunnygirl-pleased it went well
Lamewolf-it could be the medication or a slightly enlarged prostate (I have a friend whose partner went through the same thing-unfortunately she told me then told him that I knew which is a little embarassing when I see him!!).
Worked a nightshift last night which was a bit hectic to start with when one of our old men left the ward and was found out in the carpark. He was very agitated and it set the whole evening back. Nevermind- he settled in the end and the shift went more quickly!
So I've slept some of the day and will be getting dd to bed soon and don't think I'll be far behind.
Molly whats the waitrose offer? I used to shop there regularly but around a year ago our town got a sainsburys too so I now do the bulk of my shop there though there are a few waitrose things that I still have to have!
Don't think I've really done anything OS today-unless sleeping counts!!
Hugs to all!July grocery- 24.40/220. NSD-1/3.
Myself, DD, 2 cats, 35 weeks pregnant.

Sunnygirl, I'm glad that today went as well as it could.
I've had a busy few days, so no time to post, but just wanted to say how great it was to meet zippychick on Sunday. She's every bit as lovely in real life as she is on line. Boy does she make the most fabulous chilli jam and ds2 is still talking about her carrot cake! Aussie, I may drink like a fish but the lovely zippy could drink me under the table!

had a crazy few days. Today was spent gutting my living room. Tomorrow the archway is being knocked down, and the walls stripped and replastered so it is going to be fun. My room is all empty and lonely.......
Hugs to those where needed, especially Sunnygirl and family, and MSD for Tris . Lowesy best of luck with the scan! Do report in!
Sorry can't remember much else - have been reading from way earlier today .
Took b est friend out for brunch for helping me today, and had Bacon eggs beans toast and fried pancakes. Mmmmm. Not very OS or healthy but very tasty and gave me the energy to strip the roomI have a LOT of stuff  Threw a good bit out, and managed to give best friend a really nice coat I've hardly worn plus another few bits so she was chuffed and I got rid of some stuff.
Just realised i still need to clear under the stairs - eek. It's a mine for rubbish! It is definitely easier to rid clutter when someone else is here, and the day soon became a game of "keep or bin" with more being binned than I would have originally thought.A little nonsense now and then is relished by the wisest men

In the telegraph and sunday telegraph they have had a voucher for 10 pound off 50 pound shop for the past two weeks and next week too...so 6 vouchers of 10 pound off. In addition you can register your receipts and they will send you a further 2 vouchers of 10 pounds for February. You need to do three shops to get 2 vouchers in Feb.
Well a busy day for me. I made some cakes and an eves pudding. I weighed my eggs as suggested in another thread and matched all other ingredients to their weight (in shell). My cakes turned out perfectly:j
Im heading for my bed soon as a busy day tomorrow. I have consultant apptment with a long drive and an early start. Please pray that the snow holds off.
have a lovely evening xxI must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.0 -
Molly, do I remember correctly you're in Milton Keynes? Do you know Waitrose there take coupons even if you haven't bought the product (although all Waitrose's are stopping this at the end of the month, boo hoo.). Depending on who you go to depends on what rules it is (some say a third, some say half, and some take everything!), I went today and got my £50 shop for 16p. :T0

Best friend has just called. She is coming to pick me up and take me to her house! She has insisted I am not being allowed to sit here in the dark feeling gloomy. ALmost cried when she said she would come and get me - it means I won't be here tomorrow to see them rip walls down etc......:o I was dreading that so it's all good.
I am probably going ot be offline a couple of days, so yous haven't got rid of me. Hopefully the computer will be back and running on saturday or sunday although i have a busy weekend ahead so will just have to see!
Take care all. xx Back soon.:AA little nonsense now and then is relished by the wisest men
