Morning all.....(((((((((((((((((HUGS)))))))))))))) if you need one.

A very dull morning, we were rudely woken just before 7am by two cats doing what two cats make a terrific row at....d*** things, then the central heating kicked in and started creaking so I got up, no chance of going back to sleep with that row going on.

Library this morning to take books back and collect two, one is a self sufficiency book I have ordered. The libary will miss us we reserve books on line and often have 10 each out at a time, they say we keep the local library going.

Still waiting for two quotes from removers, DS2 emailed to say he will come a week on Friday to take stuff down for us, will have to bag some boxes to pack the stuff in.

Towels in the washer this morning, they might get on the line for a bit, but guess they will be finished off on the rads.

I am expecting someone to ring me this morning re the freezer.......I am still very cross that person did not even have the decency to phone and say they were not coming, last time I agree to hold something. I have learnt a couple of hard lessons this year. I leant someone a file with my quilting notes in and although I have asked consistently for it back they have ignored me. I also leant a book to someone, I have not had that back either. OH says I am too soft..........from now on I am not lending anything to anyone!! once bitten....and all that jazz.

OH has been dizzy free for almost 2 weeks.....all I have done is put more salt iin his food, if thats what caused the problem I will be a bit narked, all the time he was having so many dizzy's he was on a salt free diet because the consultant thought it was migraine!!!!

Taken a pot of beef stew out of the freezer for tonight, might do dumplings instead of spuds. Bananas for afters.

Time for my 3rd coffee and then the library............
    Was 13st 8 lbs,Now 12st 11 Lost 10 1/4lbs since I started on my diet.
  • Morning everyone :hello:

Good luck with the scan Lowsey. x
Glad you're feeling a bit better Gemma. x
Tris has cheated death so many times now Diva. He has well exceeded his life expectancy for the cancer so I'd say he has every chance of surviving this too. He is quite remarkable. icon7.gif I don't expect any prayers from me would work as God and I are not on speaking terms but I will certainly hope for the best. x

OH is working from home again today. I don't have enough office work to do and the housework was done yesterday so I may spend some time slowly cleaning out the greenhouse. I hope you're prepared for how awful a West Highland garden looks in mid winter Aussie. :o The girls have gone to school with chicken and sweetcorn sandwiches, HM muffin, HM yoghurt, blueberries and grapes (Aldi's super six).
OH and I will have leftover chicken soup and dinner is shepherd's pie which I need to make.
If I get time, I fancy making some blueberry muffins and a carrot cake. ;)

    Take care everyone. xxxx

Maybe you could knock on their doors & ask for the items back - you have a perfect "excuse" with your imminent house move ;) and it may just shame them into returning your possessions.
  • Morning all

WM went on this morning and clothes are on airer drying whilst I'm at work. I brought HM pasta salad in for lunch.

Tonight I am going to a Circuits class with a friend of an ex colleague who I vaguely know! She goes regularly so has said she will look after me! I'm so unfit and overweight so am dreading it but I need to get fit and lose weight so I'm going. I will hurt tomorrow! :rotfl:

I will prep dinner before the class then eat when I get back. Probably tofu, veg and mash.

    Have a good day all

Mioliere - Whats the difference in headlights? I didn`t realise that they were any different to english ones :o

Headlights are angled so that they throw the beam onto the driver's side of the road and kerb. UK headlights aim at the left hand side of the road but, as the French drive on the right hand side, my lights need to be replaced with those that will aim at the right hand side of the road. We always fit 'beam benders' when we travel abroad but these are only meant to be temporary and, for the MOT over here, they need to be permanent. DH has had his done already - his vehicle is a Ford and the lights cost €138 each:eek: (€1 is around £1 at the moment), but my car is a BMW so they are bound to be even more expensive:eek:!

  • Morning all!

Car has gone in for M.O.T.

Have my flying to get on with.

Also need to make some more cakes & update my daily spends diary.

Shouldn't spend any money today. MOT is free. The repairs won't be though

MSD, sorry to hear about Tris x

Bitsy, lack of sleep is a killer. Night before last I had 2 hours (on the sofa) cos baby has a cold.

jc2703, re the flatulance! I suffer with IBS. I have found charcoal capsules ( got mine in holland & barrat) have helped enormously :o

Scuse typing. Baby has woken up & needs lots of cuddling. He cried & cried last night before he went to sleep. He must wonder why I'm not making him better.

I shall hopefully be back later.

    Have a good day folks

What a mine of useful info this place is! Good morning all. My winter medication gives me trouble in that dept, so might give that a try!

Migrainy type of headache lingering at the mo, so took tablets and had another hour's sleep, but expecting a parcel of work to arrive today, so decided I should get my pretty little @r$£ () out of bed and downstairs. I'm sitting here with the SAD lamp and the laptop just contemplating making some breakfast.

I had planned to go back to work tomorrow, but there is an LSA meeting after work today, so I shall try and get in for that. It's an hour's pay after all! I'll be OK as long as noone asks me how I am or upsets me in any way!

Not decided what to do to eat today. I guess I should, as if I go to work it will be straight off to get ds from school after that.

    Have a good day everyone.

    Morning Guys!
Not feeling too bad now. Had a fall in the kitchen last night, probably because I was tired after helping my cousin yesterday.:o

MSD Sorry to hear about Tris, he's gone through the mill hasn't he? I'll add him to my prayer list.

OH and I went to the RSPCA cat's home Sunday. Getting a gorgeous long haired cat called Buddy:T Home visit tomorrow, then hopefully we will have him by the weekend! Can't wait. I've had cats when a child, but haven't had one for 23 years now, since DD was a baby. As DS is no longer here, it will be company for me when OH is away.

Going swimming later with ex-collegue. We haven't been since before Christmas what with the snow and all, so I bet I ache tomorrow!:rotfl:

Don't know what to have for dinner tonight, better go and look!
    Have a great day all.
