ohh storm you have me intrigued how do you know how far youve walked? i'm a scenery walker as well ...how far to you increase your walk at a time do add say 1/2 mile on at a time or like i was advised (and will be following ) add time on i'm gonna start with an hour at a time then maybe one and a half and add on like that i'm gonna try and walk twice a week will that be enough? all these questions i bet you wish you never said anything now lol ...anyway 5 mins left then i'm off starting to feel the nerves again i knew i was addicted but this is bad
I have a couple of books that I got in charity shops of walks in the area & I'm also a member of a local walking group (sounds a bit naff, but good fun!) The walks are pretty well planned out and I know the miles before I start. I'm still reading through my Lonely Planet 'Walking in Scotland' book that I bought to prepare for September, the only problem being I think I could spend the whole summer up there! There are websites as well, to get routes from, but haven't managed to find a free one yet...Total Debt 13th Sept 2006 (exc student loan): £6240.06

Hows you dolly?Isn't the knowledge that comes from experience more valuable than the knowledge that doesn't?0 -
Hi elantan, wow, you've been busy - very impressed with your healthy eating and exercise. I'm doing crap, I'm walking loads but I'm starving all the time - and how come you never think 'Ooooh, I could murder an apple', nooooooo, it's always crisps, chocolate etc....
I daren't weigh myself this week lol - need a serious kick up the bum. I think I'll try and make something healthy for tea and get Stu to hide anything that remotely resembles chocolate."I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250
