one day thank you very much for your post i will deff take your advice on board ..you basically have her bang on ...she had written that she was really sorry about something totally trivial and she would understand if i never wrote to her again ...i tell you between IA and this letter it has been an emotional rollercoaster of a day ...i sent her a letter telling her she has a friend over the road and that no-one in our home thought she as being silly about the incident (it really wasnt a big thing she sent our nephew a valentines card) and that we all thought it was a lovely idea as he hadnt gotten any ....i will deff put your plan into action ...it will need to be a haapy tuesday however as i'm working etc over the weekend ...but then tue is her b/day so that might just work out perfect...thanks again

Just checking in on ur thread. You should def. pop in on ur neighbour, she is prob a really really nice person,and the worst that can happen is you make a new friend.

well here i am i worked night shift last night didnt get home till nearly 11 am due to staff shortages (is that legal) my son had his group over as they are playing their first gig tonight so i went to the shops and got them breakfaxt stuff (rolls sausage egg bacon etc) and cooked it all for them... then said i'm off to bed for a couple of hours ...son said but mum were just about to practice i went it's ok son i'm sure i'll sleep through it ...famous last words eh....well they actually sound better than i thought they would i just dont know how i'm gonna survive i'm kicked in ...annoying thing is though we have another gig tonight that we bought tickets for months ago so wont be able to go and see them play ...but i spose i have a free gig going on down stairs at the mo so money saving lol.....he's having the band plus friends back to stay at our house tonight as well ....so tonight when i get in from my gig i'll have between 10 and 15 teenagers in my house ...thank goodness we only had one kid ....i tell you it aint easy being a mum

Hello elantan. I haven't read all your diary but your recent posts grabbed my attention (the shy neighbour).

I know you're knackered at the moment (hope you can sleep soon!) so, perhaps this isn't the right time to mention it but, was thinking, if you can't afford a bottle of something, just a packet of biscuits will do!

If she doesn't eat 'em, no worries, at least it will have broken the ice (and you can always post me the biscuits :rotfl:).

You will let us know how you got on won't you?

Hugs El Clearly you are a super mom as I would have shot them by the end of the moneysaving gig! This is a new way to meneysave by the way :rotfl:

well want to hear how the rest of my day panned out ...i honestly couldnt make this !!!!!! up....have had problems with internet for a few days now mainly msn ...but now i cant log into any secured site..phoned virgin and it appears that they have issues currently and i have to bear with them ..firstly they take away my sky1 then the mess up my internet connection i pay the !!!!!!s £35 a month internet (10mg download) and i cant get connected to anything...but the day got better ..took the kids to the gig wished them all the best gave son last £10 note (didnt know i was having online banking probs at this time was planning to transfer more for our gig) went back home argued with virgin about internet no joy there...anyway eventually phoned mother in law and asked her if we could borrow money (well actually hubby did i dont get on too well with them) so i owe them money now and cant pay them till pay day...then father in law arrived for us to go to our gig (why did hubby invite father in law to gig....he doesnt even like the music)..so anyway it's 6.30 i still havnt had a sleep since 10 am previous day ...got on motor way and car died on us ...dead as a dodo...now we aint members of the aa...so thankfully father in law was in car so we could phone them ....stood behind the barrier as you do for over an hour till they arrived ...the transfered the car to a service station had a looked declared it gubbed ...mother in law picked me up so i could get he other car...our car got towed to our house i picked the guys up then headed to gig ...gig started at 7.30 we got there at 9.15...at least we saw the last hour though...car mechanic from aa seems to think it's a fuel filter ...so by heaven will that mechanic hear me on monday morning...so i'm now sitting here still not slept had a beer eyes are stinging but cant go to bed till i talk to son and the now confirmed 8 (thankfully) kids that are coming to our house tonight about his first gig ...i feel a bit sh1tty for missing it but we had spent money on those tickets (we wouldnt have been able to seem them anyway due to break down)...but i dont want him to think i'm not interested especially as we had an arguement today ...dontcha all wish you were me ....funnily enough i dont feel too angry about tonights carry on gotta think positive..tomorrow i doubt very much if i will even surface till i have to go to work lol

well the 8 kids are home and safe had a fantastic night ..the band hav learned they need to work on their timing...(i think it may be a tad more than that lol) they all lost money ( i think they spent it ) they've ordered food ...but msotly they have had a fantastic night so i'm happy and off to bed ...catch you all soon...well not too soon i will be sleeping like i'm sleeping beauty

well my weekend got worse......and a bit of a set back for my finances...my laptop broke on sunday i think it's the charger but will find out when nephew has a wee look...then i went to work on sun night and on monday morning went to leave work and had a flat tyre ...it's not even my car ..had to borrow a car from someone .......not sure how much all this will cost but i'm sure it will be alot ...i think i have had my fair share of bad luck so if anyone wants some please feel free to take mine
