El.....can you ask for a breakdown of the calls? I would keep pestering them if you are sure you haven't used more than your allowance.

And to answer your other question, I'm not sure about more children really. I would LOVE more kids but hubby isn't keen, it would be completely impractical, and bearing in mind the spd I've had, I would really be pushing my luck if I put that kind of strain on my joints again......so I think it's a no, but it's a reluctant no, iyswim.

i see exactly what you mean snaggs how is the spd now has it left yet? i do get a bill with the numbers i call on it but as i work so many different times i cant say when i wasnt using it (if you know what i mean) but i know i deff used it less i dont think it would be hard though to just copy the usual numbers i phone (i only phone home hubby and about 3 others)

well ive just had a letter from sons school saying he has been dogging it too much and if he doesnt get his act together he's out ...and asking if he lives with us still ...watch this space this is a very academically clever student throwing his uni career in the dump

Been off line since Monday due to moving (almost a whole week with no Internet!) so I am playing catch up with a vengeance on the threads. Sorry to hear that you are still having trouble with your Son, I hope you are not paying him any money AND that you have sorted out with the DWP about the fact that he is not currently living with you.

I hate to say this but he will have to make his own mistakes when it comes to school/college/life all I can do is give you huge cyber hugs and hope things get better soon!

I agree with The Dragon, that you have to let son make his own mind up about school etc. Frustrating though it may be, you have to let him make these mistakes - he is too big for you to drag to school and sit with him in class

hypno just catching up with your diary youve had a busy time yet again i see and making rather large finacial (sp) decisions well done you ....

well stuff with son is still going on hubby got involved in another arguement last night he suffers from high blood pressure and has had to have his meds doubled recently well last night he went down to his mums and she started on him again threw him out of her house (not the first time i might add) so hubby came back with his face all red (not form embarrasement but blood pressure) and as he was telling me what was happening his nose started bleeding and he felt faint ...why does his mum always start when it's just him there i think it's cause she knows i would speak back and tell her a few truths but surely she must see what she is doing to her own son i feel so helpless as he's always left to deal with it and i dont think its fair on him he cant take much more and it's breaking my heart to see him go through this he's still trying to deal with his uncles death and now this to add to the pile arrrggghhhh ...he says he feels like telling his mum after the funeral that he's gonna take a step back as he cant take much more and i really hope he does ...

money wise i dont have any left to pay the mortgage this month so have arranged to take a payment holiday we've just been spending too much recently with eating out (due to hosptial visits) and buying some clothes for the winter not much mind you but stuff we needed and hubby hasnt been well either ...but right now i feel like booking up for somewhere just for hubby and me (for his 40th) just to get him away from all the pressure ...

my last night shift is finished i have tonight off so i can go to the funeral tomorrow so will spend the day doing stuff dont know what yet maybe sit here for a few hours lol

well since i last posted in my diary i have phoned the social work dept i have decided that our "family" cant go on the way it is i have had enough of the situation so i spoke to a duty social worker who thankfully has agreed to be an advocate for my son he is gonna let him know his rights/ whats expected of him/ access to benefits etc for which i am grateful i cant stand the pressure my hubby is under and it has really been stressing me out ...so i've phoned son and told him he is getting a phone call from a guy who is gonna tell him his rights and help him decide what he wants to do etc and phoned hubby to tell him what ive done son is happy and hubby is relieved he did inform me he has had a headache since last night and the pains in his chest have came back (now he tells me) so i think i have done the right thing ...sorry to all regular readers of the diary i seem to have went off on a tangent recently more about families than money i'm afraid

Thanks for asking! we are sort of settled (gradually working our way through the boxes LOL) at the moment I seem to have a glandular fever relapse sort of thing as all I want to do is sleep!

Speaking of which I think it is time to unfold the futon again and get my head down for a while *sigh*

Sorry to hear you're having a bad time Gorgeous. It's probably best that you brought someone external in, it "opens out" a pressurised situation.
