Did you tell your lawyer about the first letter (the one with the suggested settlement?), if you did I am assuming they told you to ignore it - contact them NOW and ask what is going to happen, sitting there panicking is not going to help you at all.

ok i dont know if making the jam and spending so much time on mse has went to my head but.....was reading the thread about dreading xmas and i was sitting feeling very pleased with myself because i swore to myself last year that i would have money for this years xmas (and i have) so i wouldnt panic ...but then read threads over the other forums and i noticed there are some fantastic ideas floating about (the one with the good bag co ) i think it was frugal fox that suggested a movie bag (brilliant idea) and i noticed super pap's fantastic bottle idea then i noticed the wagga /wheat bag idea and a homemade face scrub idea ...now it's far to late to start with this stuff this year (i just dont have the time) but i was thinking this might be a good plan to start for next year all gift bags/baskets with home made presents in none of them look too hard to do (except super paps bottle that girl is so talented) and if i spread it through out the year i wont be stressing about it ...only thing now is i will need to find out how long these things can keep for so that they wouldnt be off by the time people got them (obviously the movie bag would be last) but things like how long does jam keep for face scrubs etc ...i could do like a pamper pack for a friend (reiki treatment face/body scrub wheat bag type thing) and personalise them all for the individual ..at the same time i dont actually buy my friends presents at xmas but it could be good for a b/day ..wee treat for xmas from me (for a change)

i have to admit i dont understand any of this process at all ...when i got the offer in (only had the one) they did say that if i didnt accept it then they are going to court i was under the impression you got three offers before the courts got involved i spose i'm panicking incase there is a picture of me somewhere doing something (which then left me in pain) that had to be done that shows me in a bad light ...i havnt lied i have got a genuine claim i still suffer from pain but i'm panicking for some reason ...is this normal or am i being paranoid again ...and then the worry of what if the case get's thrown out of court i will get nothing i shouldve taken what i was offered even though it was rubbish but atleast i wouldve got something and my dfd goes further back ...can you tell i have been overthinking this lol

I know exactly what you mean because I feel the same way. So we can be paranoid together!

At least you are making progress - I see the court date as very positive. If you have medical evidence to back you up then you will be fine I reckon. (I hope so, because it will all be happening to me in due course!!)

Right, off to bed now, see you later xx

well i had a fantastic weekend...hubby planned with nephew and friend to take me camping over the weekend ...i think it's just what i was needing to be honest ..i think things with son had been getting on top of me and hubby noticed this so he phoned my friend and arranged with her to keep me out of the house for a wee while so he could get things organised and arranged with nephew to get camping stuff down from loft while he was getting his (nephew was away the weekend as well) so on friday morning my texts started going off with my friend asking when i was coming over for a visit i explained it would be when i got up she then mentioned she needed bread for her wee one (knowing i would go straight away) so i had a lovely day with her meanwhile hubby was getting things organised for going when i got home we just had to pack the car and then go ...what a peaceful perfect weekend...and i feel so much better for it

What a lovely hubby you have.

    Glad you're feeling better.

Glad you're feeling a bit better El, you deserve it after the tough time you've been having.

How lovely of your hubby to be so thoughtful.
