Has anyone got a code for Mailbox Movies?
A 14 day trial doesn't give you enough time to try these sites out0 -
If https://www.dvdtrials.co.uk doesn't have one then it's unlikely, they only have a code for buy a month and get one free.
There's plenty of others offering a month though0 -
Please could some one verify the no of maximum dvds allowed in 1 month trial with lovefilm!
Is it unlimited or down to the no?
Thanks in advance!0 -
I've just had a quick check of terms and conditions and it doesn't state how many DVD's.
Does anyone know where I find out all the game rental companies. I am currently using Gametart. Excellent service. I received my game the next day. If I post early enough (for the postamn to collect it from the post box- I don't know what time they collect) I can have my next game in 2 days.
The only downside is your responsible for returning the game before the end of your trial. Any delays and you will be charged.
I wondered if any lists also tell you which rental companies are owned/governed by the same company.
I read that Tesco and Screen Select are owned by the same company (365DVD.co.uk or something like that) and they prevent you from starting a second trial. I'm just wary incase a company doesn't prevent it and I get charged.0 -
we were with mailbox movies for a while, then changed to screenselect because they were cheaper and the features were better. i don't know if mailbox has changed over the 15 months we've been with screenselect but at the time you had to send all 3 dvd's back in the same envelope then wait for them to send you another 3 in a single envelope. i much preferred sending them back 1 by 1 to screenselect. mailbox were good at answering email quickly though.
screenselect have been really rubbish the past 3 months or so though and i'm looking to change. the screenselect envelopes are split so dvd's fall out in the post and the turnaround is dreadful now, it used to be so much better. they must have too many customers i suppose ... they started with tesco and now they even advertise with our pizza deliveries.
who shall i try next? hmmm ....52% tight0 -
Navid,
I've just cancelled my LoveFilm subscription after a great 4 week trial. You have the choice of 1 DVD at a time (which is the default setting) but I changed this to 3 at a time which was also FREE.
Definitely recomment LoveFilm - great service although some of their DVDs were dirty so give them a clean before you start the film to improve viewing pleasure.
After my DVD free trial pilgrimage I will no doubt come back to the LoveFilm way...

I did exactly the same thing but beware you may be charged after renting out one dvd like me!
They still have not replied to any of my emails after 6 days and counting....
Looks like I may have to recoup this cash by going through my credit card company.0 -

Hope you will get your moneyback from them as others have by complaining.
I have returned my first 3 dvds and others 3 on their way. I have just checked my creditcard online and there are no charges from lovefilm. Hope they wouldn't charge untill the trial ends!0 -
marnstars wrote:I quite like the sound of being a DVD Tart. These companies are all offering Free trial periods to their services (DVD rental through the post). Tewrms apply to each, but there is at least six-months worth of rental to be had for nothing if used back to back.
Tesco's Version (2 weeks free) http://www.tescodvdrental.com/visitor/home.html?refer_tag=tesco&brand=tesco&fr=6.8022265052921 (Have to say - it's not my refers tag and I can't get rid!) You could just go through https://www.tesco.com and follow the links on the left.
Blockbuster have theirs on a 1 month free trial here> http://www.blockbuster.co.uk
