*FREE* DVD Rental (become a DVD Tart)

Well I'm into my third free month: Lovefilm -> Screenselect -> dvds365

Each time 5 minutes on google/MSE to check for vouchers and got an extension (from 2 weeks to 4) with each one. Also got some cash (£11.50) from using my own affiliate links on sign up...

Have tried a few in the past and am currently on dvd365. Am using the list from DVD home trials but am nearing the end of it now. What a wheeze!!!

I've finished my Blockbuster trial and I have to say they were terrible. They had a fairly long turnabout time (compared to LoveFilm) and I never seemed to get anything higher than number 8 in my list

i've found blockbuster ok so far, although they ahvent recieved a dvd i sent back so far, although it was sent with two others which they did recieve...is this a big problem? are the dvds too tempting for the postie (our postie is lovely but we have had a dodgy one, so no offence if anyones a postie!), they are very obviously dvds...

i like love film, and i have subscribed to that one, dvd365 is pretty good, my list has been dispatched in order and quickly, unusally, so i may subscribe to them after my trial is done.

i've never watched so many films in my life lol!

Not receiving DVDs can be a problem when you are sending them back at the end of a freebie period...

yes, funnily enough at the end of my msn/video isalnd trial, dvds disappeared for 2 weeks then miraculously reappeared; now when i get to the end of a trial (i'm on my 4th) i have started posting with cert of posting, although i'm only on my second week with blockbuster. we'll see what happens...

update:

to date, blockbuster have now not recieved three dvds which i have sent back, although other dvds sent with them have been received no problem by other companies, eg love film, DVDS365. 1 dvd went missing from a batch of 3 i sent back to BB (2 recieved), the 2 others in a separate batch were only 1 out of the 3 sent was recieved...something tells me they are going to drop me soon!

its really annoying though, maybe its the distinctive blue envelope, although Love film is distictive too...its just too much of a coincidence that these are going missing twice in a week, 3 out of 6 dvds as yet unrecieved by blockbuster!!

I've just received a leaflet through the post offering a months free trial for WHSmith Movies Direct...does anyone have an opinion on them?

Linked to Lovefilm so should be OK unless you've used a Lovefilm powered site before.

From their T&C:
The Free Trial is available to new subscribers only. Existing subscribers, or those who have previously enjoyed a free trial period with WHSmith Movies Direct, or any LOVEFiLM-powered site are not eligible and will be billed normally for use of the service.
