Hey all, I'm a STS this week. It's a <phew> as I have been eating everything in sight and takeaways while we moved into the new house. So STS is good! Am in Uganda next week for a conference (v. excited) so getting back on the wagon now and hoping to have 5lbs down in April before my cousin's wedding on 1st May. I have a nice dress I would love to feel really good in, instead of worrying about my squidgy bits!:A :heartpuls June 2014 / £2014 in 2014 / £735.97 / 36.5%0

Keep up the good work Kavics!! You're very restrained at only having a small piece of Aero choc, I ate nearly a whole huge bar at the weekend so not expecting a loss on Friday..
Well done Lara on staying the same, an achievement considering you've been so busy! Uganda is so exciting! How long you out there for?
Well on my last weigh in I lost 2lbs bringing me to my first mini goal of half a stone lost! :j Only 2 stone left to go..Total Debt (Dec 2015) £11,500 : Currently £7,675Lose 21lb : 0/21

Well done Zig! It's good to have these mini goals I think
Kavics you do sound so well behaved!
I've been bit hopeless, been busy and stressy at work and it's TOTM but I need to be more restrained as it'll creep back on so easily...
You must be so excited for Uganda Lara! I'm jealous!
Where's Poddle, she's been quiet for a while??Weightloss: 14.5/65lb0 -
I am very well behaved cause i put on my favourite jeans at the weekend and ooooo, I have love handles!!! I hate them, I hate them so every time I want to eat chocs or sweets or just too much, I just think about them and stop myself. This time I will be strong, as love handles are almost impossible to get rid of!
I'm due to see my family at the end of this month, and I don't know how everyone else's parents, siblings, relatives but mine always comment whether I put on weight or lost and I hate that, so this time I want them to say I lost. I haven't seen them for 6 months so they can really tell the difference. Let's just hope BA doesn't cancel my flight on the 30st...

Hello girls! Sorry (again) I've been such a lame hostess! Promise to do better...
Kavics - you're so brilliantly motivated, stick with it! Are you going to Spain next week? I think my family are a bit like yours by the sound of it - it's always the first thing my dad comments on! (I honestly don't think I'm being paranoid) Fingers crossed about BA!
Well done Zig, that's a brilliant milestone :j
I feel like I'm back at square one, but have enlisted a new gym buddy and logged on to WW for the first time in ages and ready to go! I definitely don't want to be saying the same thing in March 2011...
I've motivated myself by writing a weight in my diary each week (from now on) based on losing 1lb a week, which should be very achievable. It's nice to look at it and think 'ooh, I could have lost half a stone by my friend's 30th' or 'I'll be 9 and 1/2 stone by summer etc
How's everyone else going? xLBM Sep 2008 debt: £27,927.04start weight: 140.2, week 2: 1380 -
Restart for me here too. First day of Harcombe diet. Starting weight is 142.8lb (yes, I seem to have gained 1lb since the start of January!) so that's 22.8lbs I want to shift now, but realistically I might stop around 18lbs as I'm not sure if my body even can go below that - it certainly hasn't while I've been an adult!Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

Yuk yuk! Well don't know if you remember but a few weeks ago I was saying I was thinking of giving up as I couldn't seem to get below about 10.4-10.3, and I sort of did and relaxed about what I was eating, then I stepped on the scales on Saturday morning and they said 10.7! Then yesterday I thought I'd have a go on the Boots scales and they came out at 11st!! Although I also came out as 6'2" so I'm not sure if its the Boots scales that are wrong or the ones at home! It gave me a bit of a jolt anyway, but now the home scale need a new battery so I couldn't go on this morning to compare ... augh ... back to FoodFocus methinks!
Sorry for the incoherent ramble.Weightloss: 14.5/65lb0 -
No, we are off to Spain in June for a budget beach holiday:p. Can't wait:T. We're flying to Hungary at the end of this month but still no news on our flight whether it will be cancelled or not, can't wait to see my god kiddos:D. BA offers that they can rebook your flight but I have no holiday left for this year, booked everything in advance:o. Also just received an email from wizzair that they changed our flight times to Poland at the end of April, so instead of flying on Wed morning, we're now flying Wed evening and coming back on Mon morning rather than late evening. When I say morning, it's 6.25:eek:. I don't mind staying there less but come on, who wants to get up at 3 a.m to get to the airport:eek:?
I'm doing well diet wise, the last couple of days I had salad for lunch and than proper dinner but no snacks whatsoever. Today I had bran flakes and small yoghurt for breakfast, salad for lunch than had a bowl of blueberries, strawberries and grapes and dinner will be home-cooked chinese with noodles :T. Can't wait, I'm starving already. And back to the gym as well, aerobic class, here I come.0 -
Just made a huge jug of homemade carrot and tomato soup, allowed during the Harcombe 5 day detox period. Sadly there are still some cookie dough truffles I made yesterday sat in my fridge giving me the eyeball - I've had to retreat to the other side of the house with my soup to avoid them!Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

What's the Harcombe diet Dinah? I'm glad I'm not the only one ready for a restart - although I've put on pretty much everything I lost before ChristmasTete_en_l'Air wrote: »Yuk yuk! Yowsers! Let's hope Boots have cocked up! It's very easily done when you 'relax' - onwards and upwards, eh! (maybe the wrong expression when we're talking about weight loss)

You're SO virtuous! Holidays are a great incentive to lose weight - I'm sure you'll look amazingLBM Sep 2008 debt: £27,927.04start weight: 140.2, week 2: 1380
