  • lol i know, you're not scary at all, you're lovely! I've been very motivated by your threads,i don't know how you do everything you do! will pop over and dive out of lurkdom perhaps!

I'm due to go to the doctors in a few weeks about it, as i'm having some emotional problems, and think its all a bit linked-i had mild anaemia a few years ago, so i guess it could be something like that too-my job is definitely not active, just a bit stressful!

It's great when you see pictures of yourself and are happy with how you look, its a real confidence boost-i don't have many like that, but i have pictures of how i used to look, so when i'm feeling crappy i look at those and it reminds me of how far i've come.

  • Hi Guys!!

Just weighed in at 10st 7lbs...again...sigh
Not sure why i'm stuck, seems I never really got started. I think back to the food diary to see if i'm underestimating the amount i'm eating. But I thought I was really cutting out a lot of "treats" Althought tonight we're having an early mother's day meal with MIL and i'm doing a Baileys Panna cotta so will be a few calories in that!! Will have to be good during the day I think! x

Hi girls! Sorry I've been a bit absent!

Welcome Eternal Sunshine :) Well done on what you've achieved so far - i'm sure you can pick up some motivation for the final leg!

Don't worry LittleMiss, people often stick at the same weight for a while. Try making a few small changes this week - drinking more water or some more exercise should kickstart your weightloss again.

    How's everyone else?

Finally decided to follow A Diet here, rather than just calorie counting. In the interim I've kind of given up the diet and am just maintaining, then the new diet starts a week today once we've read the books and NIM has had his work assessment.

Hello everybody...........gosh, it seems we've all been a bit quiet lately. I weighed myself on Monday, and I'm STS........which is ok I suppose. On all other accounts, I've been majorily rubbish, but hey-ho, some weeks are like that.

Welcome Eternal_Sunshine! :) Well done on losing 4 and a half stone already! :j

LittleMiss, I find a food diary really helps me. Hope you manage to get unstuck! :D

Good luck to anyone else who is staying the same or needs a push!

I lost 0.8 lbs at my last weigh in, and I weigh in again tomorrow.

  • thanks guys. I managed to get down to 10stone 1.2 on monday(weigh day). I haven't really been following weightwatcher strictly(damn tesco and their cheap easter eggs!) but i've been drinking a hell of a lot more water, and i think it seems to be working out really well, so fingers crossed!

littlemiss-a food diary definitely helps, if you feel like you're eating well but the weight won't shift-you forget all the tiny bits an pieces you eat over the week when you don't keep track, so it can help you see the extra you're eating, and also which times of day are bad times for you etc, so you can work on that

How is everyone doing? I'm back now properly, have been to the gym 3 times since Saturday. Won't go till Thursday though this week as I have babysitting tonight and tomorrow my OH doesn't work so wouldn't be fair spending the evening without him.

Breakfast: porridge with peach slices, actimel
Lunch: toasted English breakfast muffin with salad and chicken pieces
    greek youghurt with prune
    Dinner: tuna tomato salad (250 calories-ready :)),

for snack I have a handful of cashew nuts, apples and a small piece of aero choc.

I reallly concentrate on weight loss now, I don't have many to lose but want to lose it before going on holiday to Spain!
