Planning_ahead, that's such a lot you have been through over the last few years, congratulations for being stilll standing! :T
My goodness you are balancing so much at the moment with full-time work especially, and like you say it's just about getting through each day. We would love for you to stay with us thoughWhy don't you plan just to stay the same weight? That way if you won't feel any worse, but you won't have the stress of constantly trying to lose weight.

One thing I have found though - Nakd! They're infused raisins, I had lemon ones yesterday and *dies alittle* they were lovely!!
They sound nice!Tete_en_l'Air wrote: »Oh dear it sounds as though we're all falling off the wagon! But I'm here to support anyone who is wobbling! YOU CAN DO IT! :j Cinny and Tete, if you are happy at the weight you are then that is fabulous
I went to Aqua Aerobics yesterday which was really good! My calves are killing me today though. I've been really good with the diet since Friday so I hope I lose.
PA I had ME for about a year so you have my sympathy! I just slept all the time. And I couldn't remember things like my friends' surnames which really scared me. I also had really bad nausea and couldn't eat anything that was vaguely rich or fatty (handy for the diet!) It obviously affects people in different ways so I hope you find things that work for you. Ever since I had it I can't drink alcohol as it makes me feel really sick after just a glass, it's strange. But yeah, another person who has made it to the other side so there's hope for you yet! I just can't get too stressed or I get signs of it again - a bit like Dinah.Total Debt (Dec 2015) £11,500 : Currently £7,675Lose 21lb : 0/21

Hi all,
PA would be great to still see you on here, you can nag us all lol! I think your GP gave good advice to you.
Not been a good week, not sure what has happened. I guess I didn't quite keep track of my munching, i've put on 2lbsSo i'm 10st 7lbs I think I need to try and do my meal planner better, seems lately we haven't stuck to it either i'm working late shift or we're at OH parents or my sister. Will have to try harder this week. I don't want to see a red mark next to my name on the front page
Thanks for your motivation Zig!:j Baby boy arrived 22nd August 2012 :j

Calling it a STS this week. Scales said 0.2lb gain... but I'd just drunk a pint of water and usually I weigh in first thing, so I'm ignoring that! In all honesty its deserved, have eaten far too much sugar this week.Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

I'm not doing very well either, kept quiet for the last week or two simply because I have so much work to do with OU-still followed everyone progress though. I haven't been able to go to the gym either as much as an old heel injury flared up. Made an appointment with gp for Monday evening and they failed to inform me that it got cancelled. Now I need to wait another 3 weeks just to get a referral for a scan-that's 5.5 weeks in total. I'm so cross. So only doing spinning and body pump in gym twice a week as it doesn't require me jumping a lot.
Food wise I'm on a strict diet this week as I feel I gained back the 2lbs I lost. I try to cut out dairy and wheat and of course sweets:). OH has really high blood pressure the last 2 weeks so he's seeing his gp tomorrow. Dinah-I know you have high blood pressure, are you on medication? Is it genetic or is it connected to cholesterol? We assume his might be genetic as his mum had a stroke 3 weeks ago (she is fine, she got to hospital within 20 min!).0 -
Yes I take tablets, benzoflumethiazide (not spelt quite right!) and amlodipine. Its genetic, I actually have a very low cholesterol reading. Sadly that doesn't make much difference, still can't fix it, just means taking tablets every day, but uncontrolled as you say its really dangerous.Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

Yes, that's why I am so keen for him to see his gp. At the moment we measure his blood pressure morning and evening, so he will have 2 weeks of reading with him tomorrow. He's really against taking any tablets for anything but I don't want him to have a heart attack or stroke later on so better if he sorts it out. He is really healthy, exercises 3 times a week, eats lots of fruits and veg, and is only 32 so that's why we think it's genetic.0

Aye I was diagnosed at 19, and I'm 25 now and have been on the tablets 4 years. I'd love not to take them, but the other option is a stroke and I'm not keen on that either! The most important thing to lower blood pressure naturally is to cut out all salt, as it has a really dramatic effect, be within the healthy bmi range, and to exercise, which obviously he already does.Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

hiya, I know I'm really late in joining this, but can I put my name down anyway? I've been following the thread (and all Dinahs threads-too scared to post though!) I've been doing weightwatchers on and off for the past 3 years and i've lost nearly 4 and a half stone, but i've been stuck at the 10.7 mark for ages now(just out of not being totally motivated with eating I think). I've managed to get down the around 10.4 at the minute, but ideally i'd like to lose at least another stone. I'm going to paris in june with my OH and i'd really like to not look back on the pictures and think i look a complete mess!
My problem is I find it really hard to exercise, not necessarily cos I don't enjoy it, but because I'm constantly tired, and find I can just about get through work, never mind going to the gym/doing exercise dvds etc afterwards(how you people juggle a full time job etc and do exercise, i'll never know!)
So I figured if i had to come here and admit my weight loss/gain each week, i'd be guilted into eating better and not eating all the bad stuff which i love!Mortgage free wannabe #124

Have you been to the doctors about feeling so tired? Maybe you're a bit anemic. It's not usual unless you have a really active job to be that tired after work. I find exercise really energises me, it's killing me atm to be such a sedentary blob.
Speaking of pictures, saw some from my friends birthday the other night and for the first time in about 2 years I actually thought I looked good. Only another stone or so to go, just need to gain some control around the mini eggsDebt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008
