Hey Poddle! Count me in for the wibbly bum challenge! I love the name, it really is my curse so it strikes a nice chord with me! I can't even run because my bum wobbles and it hurts!Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!Goal Weight 140lb Starting Weight: 160lb Current Weight 145lb0

Lol Birdie, that sounds odd!
Today has not been a great day for the new diet challenge. Lunch consisted of a ton of hula hoops (from a special tub that I bought as it was reduced and it is the perfect tub for my new change pot) and some Quality Street
But I think dinner is definitely going to be roast butternut squash with something and that is 0 points on WW so might help redeem the awful lunch.
Will do better tomorrow! And for pudding I plan on using up slightly out of date yoghurt and fruit by making smoothiesTotal Debt (Dec 2015) £11,500 : Currently £7,675Lose 21lb : 0/21

I love the reasoning behind buying a tub of Hula Hoops! Tasty way to get a change pot!
And my bum does wobble when I run, it isn't even abnormally large... just clearly very wobbly!:oOvercome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!Goal Weight 140lb Starting Weight: 160lb Current Weight 145lb0 -

Do exploding lungs mean the run was a success then?! Sounds like you worked hard! :j
I hate the jiggly body when exercisingI'd love to feel firm!
Change of plan for dinner - it's now a Bachelor's Pasta n Sauce.. mmm... nutritious.. But I still intend to do the smoothiesTotal Debt (Dec 2015) £11,500 : Currently £7,675Lose 21lb : 0/21

I made dinner tonight, which is great as it meant I was completely in control of my portion sizes. Unfortunately I was still in the red on Food Focus by 183 cals. As I am following the very simple rule of calories in < calories out, I am going to stick a DVD on for the next half hour, do some upper body weights so I can equal it out again.
Has anyone seen thingies Big Fat Diet Show where they all tried to drop a dress size in 2 weeks? According to that doing the nasty is only 61 calories burnt, not 200 and odd as we previously thought, just for info for anyone who like me even enters it into food focus to get the calories to balance (but I did list myself as 'sedentary' so I need to count every bit of exercise I possibly can otherwise I'd never meet the measly 900cal a day target!).Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

Hey Poddle, hey ladies
Count me in on the wibbly challenge - I need to lose the Christmas shelf plus a bit more - put me down for 10lbs. I am trying to be saintly in the week and have a few treats over the weekend.
When are we weighing in? Ooops eta - glad to hear we have a bit of time to get ahead before Feb 1st!:A :heartpuls June 2014 / £2014 in 2014 / £735.97 / 36.5%0 -
I found a really interesting site. I plugged in a few activities, have a look how they compare on the calorie burning stakes (all are for an hour, I know you'd never do some of them for an hour, but I was trying to make it fair!)
Activity - Calories burned
Sleeping 59
Sitting / resting 67
Reading 67
Talking on phone 67
Standing 76
Sex - foreplay 93
Studying 118
Driving 135
Ironing 143
Washing dishes 143
Shopping 152
Horseback riding - walking 160
Tailoring, Cutting 169
Cooking 169
Hatha yoga 177
Housework 186
Weight lifting - general 219
Lifting weights - general 219
Showering 270
Sex - intercourse 270
Walking 3 mph 279
Washing car 287
Situps / crunches - moderate 287
Ashtanga yoga 329
Using Crutches 338
Pilates Advanced 406
Running 5 mph 541
So shopping is almost as good for you as gentle horse riding, tailoring and cutting burn as many calories as yoga, showering burns significantly more than lifting weights (how?!), and using crutches burns more than the most vigourous form of yoga (could be handy for me to know that one soon!). I only plugged in things I might do at the moment, I'm sure there are a lot that are higher and more relevant, check it out!
Did 35 mins of weights in the end, meeaning I'm now under my calorie goal by nearly 50 calories (huge huh!)Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008
