Penguins in Africa?? Haha, this just makes me think of those mischevious ones on Madagascar! ... am also looking at a 6 mile Race for Life in May... I've never run before...

I love those penguins! :D I'm thinking of doing Race for Life this year, depends on whether I can get my fitness levels up a bit!

That seems like a good target Planning Ahead (can I call you PA?!) I'm dreaming of 9st something too, cuz I weigh 11st 6lbs and am only 5ft 3.5 so that's not very good! :o

ETA: Poddle please please please can I keep my 2lbs lost on my sig cuz I've only just lost it and it's only ever been at 0lbs lost and I like seeing a number there! :D
    Total Debt (Dec 2015) £11,500 : Currently £7,675
    House Deposit Savings : £8,600/£25,000
    Lose 21lb : 0/21
  • PA - why don't you aim for small chunks at a time - to get under 200 lbs first - that should fairly easy and quick and will give you a big boost when you get there. Then you'll be 14st4 so can aim for the 14st mark, and so on?

Start now!! We can be running buddies! (I joined the DFW running club but they're a bit far from where I am at the moment, fitness wise!)

Actually, yeah, Tete's idea is great. Small chunks = more motivation as you reach all your mini targets! :D

Woohoo Running Buddies! Ok that's cool! But I'm not starting running until I move to my Nan's - so my running regime will start 1st Feb. How exciting!

I'm aiming for under 9 stone as I'm even smaller than you! I just want to see 8 stone something once in my life to see if it really would change my life as I've always imagined it would!

Course you can! Promise I'm not going to turn into some diet fascist :D Just trying to think a good way to record targets and total weight loss etc

That's a brill idea; it means that each week you lose weight (which you will!) you'll be a step closer to a mini goal, rather than x lbs out of xx which can be a bit daunting!

Poor you, that must be so frustrating! Is there any flexibility with the MRI date? Any chance of a cancellation in the mean time?

Of course you can call me PA (perhaps if I was to use that on my CV I could get a high paid job and pay the debts faster):rotfl:

I am only 5ft but I console myself that even Beyonce looks like me on a widescreen tv;)

Small chunks is good - so first target is going to be revised to 7lbs (cos that way I will be sub 200lbs):T
