  • Please can I join too?
My mother led me to this thread so I think she'll join later. Will weigh myself later for a definate start weight but think i'm just over 11stone and my target will be 9.5stone.
Going to join the same gym as my bf, the one I was at closed before Christmas. I'm just going to do a few classes or gentle walking on the treadmill or cross trainer.
We're not exactly sure of our plan of attack with the food, but I think I need some guide, either points or calorie counting. I like the idea of having a weigh in day without ppl staring at you!!! I can be embarrassed and red faced at home :)

Great thread, glad I was nagged to have a look!!

Hi LMMS! Welcome to the challenge :) We're a pretty nice bunch, so no judgements on weigh in day, but hopefully some ideas, inspiration and a large dose of chat! We officially start on 1st Feb, so anything you lose before that is a bonus. Good luck x

    Hi everyone,

I know I am a bit ahead as I started begining of Jan but I lost another two lbs this week yay! Starting to feel a bit more back to my old self now.

At the moment I am not doing any calorie counting but I have done it many times in the past so I know what is low calories. If my weight starts to plateau I am going to go back to counting religiously.

My friend did weightwatchers and she stopped a while ago but didnt put any weight on as she said it has changed the way she thinks about food.
  • Right I just weighed myself and I am 11stone 4lbs so that's my start weight!!

Hello, I'm littlemissmoneysavers mum, so as I mentioned this thread to her,I'd like to join in as well.
I weighed myself and , well,er 12st 6 lbs. I'm 5ft 6in ,so 2 stone loss would be very nice, but going to try 7lbs at a time as it doesn't sound too bad.
I have a big birthday later this year, one of those with a 0 on the end,so would be great to get rid of some flab before then.
    1) Going to read on here every day for inspiration and ideas.
    2) Keep an eating diary.
    3) Stop buying/eating junk.Should be easier now most of the Christmas "goodies" are nearly gone.
    That's all for now,ilovetea x

Nice to meet you ilovetea. Sounds like you've got a plan :)

Did an hour and a half of weights and pilates tonight, just to make sure I'd balanced out dinner.
