((hugs)) to Gemmabuckle - you sound really down! What a difficult letter to have to write to your former teacher - perhaps need to tell him/her of the influence they had on you? Anyway, hope you're feeling a little brighter by now.

    Afternoon all.

Haven't looked at the weekend threads yet, so ((((HUGS)))) where they're needed, and congrats where appropriate.:o

Busy day yesterday, making bread rolls, carrot'n'orange cake and cheese straws.

We've started trying again with meal planning, but not necessarily a week at a time. I've created a spreadsheet, and we'll try and keep a plan for at least a few days ahead, with Mr LW contributing ideas. We can also see what we've had recently so that we don't have the same thing too often. We've got up til next Sunday done, so far.

I've done a second page with meal ideas on (for inspiration) and a third page with a running total of grocery costs, which I'll do monthly (Mr LW was amazed that we've spent £112 this month already).
Tonight's dins is mushroom risotto; I've put the saucepan out and the recipe book, open at the page, so that I remember what I'm meant to be doing!:rotfl:

Halight, good luck with the new pain treatment. I hope it helps, as constant pain is so very debilitating.
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)

Not really caught up or with it yet. Big hellos and hugs were [STRIKE]where? [/STRIKE]required . Oh dear, I seem to have forgotten how to spell :A:rotfl:

Maybe you need the string-round-finger reminder too?! Or is a more structured plan of "if it's Tuesday and week A/B then it must be Shepherd Spy" easier for you?

    Hi all,
Well im back form the hospital and i just thourt that id let the ones of you who wont to know how i got on.

It seems taht some off the head pain that iv been getting is coming from a neve between my tempol and and eye. The doc seems to think this is because the last op that i had to remove the last tumor, Thay cut into me around by my ear, and went into my head that way. well when thay stiched me all back up he thinks that thay might have pulled the skin a bit too tight and its interfearing with this neve. (he says hes see it a few times before)
Anyweay he seems to think that this pain is adding to my other pain so plan of acshion is too inject this neve with some stuff that will frezee it or something like that. This will not solve the problem but it will sort it out for a time anyway and the plan to go on from there if the injechion works would be to repeat it every 4 months to keep it at bay.

He is going to leave my tablets as thay are for now.
Hi Halight - I have had quite a few of those blocks and they work well in my opinion. Good luck

    Thanks molly
:jYou can have everything you wont in lfe, If you only help enough other people to get what they wont.:j

    Hello to all!

((Hugs)) to all those feeling down today

Been busy sorting out the glass recyling, have taken that to the tip along with a broken radiator - which was fun trying to lift it into the boot on my own!

Slowly (and I mean slowly:o) getting thru the decluttering, will be making more trips to the dump and charity shop! I bet with everyone de-cluttering at this time of year the charity shops must be overloaded!:rotfl:

On the way back from dump popped into toy shop and bought two new sledges to replace ours which broke the other week - not that I'm asking for anymore snow just yet - but it pays to ready for next year!;)

Just off to brass the step before picking up the kids - DD is starting salsa dancing tonite at after school club - I wonder if she will like it?

Tea tonite is a Lidl cheat I got this morning, meal deal -lasagne, garlic bread and salad - nice and easy!

    Zippychick - glad you enjoyed Pink's cooking!:D

    Enjoy your day everyone!
    xx

Still deaf, but been told to wait until 1st Feb before I go back.
Took hubby to the osteopath today, £45!!! & more treatment to follow @ £30 a time, what joy.
I had soup for lunch, a hot cross bun for tea, there is enough leftover roast dinner from yesterday for hubby.
Mr T had whoopsied 24 satsumas for £1 this morning, so I grabbed them & dropped them of at DD's.
    Have a good evening everyone.
    Hugs Hester
