Morning all
I'm looking forward to reading the thread with my lunch.
Today I will mostly be acting like a BAF.
Hugs to you all Dusty xThe birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
Morning all...............(((((((((((((((((((((HUGS))))))))))))))))))))) if you need one.
Its a bright morning a little puff of wind now and then, so the first lot of sheets are on the line. It will save me £1 if I get them dry on the line, so £1 into the moving fund!!! Lady collecting the freezer at lunchtime, that will go into the removal fund as well.
Its upstairs clean day...bathroom, bedroom and sewing room. OH is out in the garage messing about with the stuff he brought from the allotment. Boy there is a lot of stuff.......its never going to fit into the shed..... mind you some of it will be outside anyway.
Chicken and salad for supper tonight with the rest of the cheesecake for dessert. I have a jug of stock from the chicken in the fridge for the fat to harden then I'll scrape it off and use the stock for lentil soup for lunch.
Offsky for now otherwise I'll be on this infernal machine all morning and no cleaning will get done. Was 13st 8 lbs,Now 12st 11 Lost 10 1/4lbs since I started on my diet.0 -
Warning – grumpy post alert. Please feel free to ignore…
A touch of the Monday blues over in my corner of the world! Primarily because (a) we didn’t have a very relaxing weekend due to Puppy-Dog’s neutering (He’s absolutely fine but is on 10 minute lead-walks only and he’s going stir-crazy) and (b) I woke up at 12.30am this morning and didn’t manage to drop off again until gone 4 so now I’m absolutely shattered.
OS wise, packed lunches all round for us, and HM Sausage Casserole for dinner. Need to get some laundry done, but with no TD and no chance of stuff drying outside, my house is starting to look like a laundrettes! Add to that the general chaos caused by a month of no bin collection and the fact that our kitchen bin has broken, meaning we have a bin bag permanently residing on our kitchen worktop, and you can imagine that our house is in a right state! I’ve given up on trying to keep the entrance hall / stairs clean as OH works on a muddy building site and keeps tramping mud in the house. On the few occasions that he does take his boots off, he leaves them on the floor for Puppy-Dog to get hold of, and once he’s dragged them around the house by the laces there’s not much mud left on the boots!
Goal for today is to write a letter I’ve been putting off. I recently found out that my old primary
school teacher, who I write to regularly, is dying. I don’t even know where to start with that letter! Sorry, what a depressing post… Must perk up a bit. Maybe some chocolate will help.

Morning everyone,
Don't think I got to post yesterday, hope you all had a good day, I'll catch up later.
Busy mrning this morning. OH has my car today, which leaves me a bit stuck as home, the kids' school and work are miles apart. He took them to school, but I've got to get the from there to gran's which is 2 buses, then get to work which is 3 buses and a train from there. I'm meant to start at 4 o'clock, so unless I discover how to time travel between now and then, I'll be very late.
Have plans to iron today, which is my most avoided chore, I've got today's flyylady list printed off too, but the ironing has to be my priority, so I'm off to attack that shortly.
Hugs for everyone, especially Sunnygirl, hope you and yours are bearing up OK.

Hey everybody, haven't posted on the daily recently!
Well I'm off school today cuz I'm poorly sick, haven't actually been sick, just got the symptoms that normally go with it!
Sorted my wardrobe out yesterday, 2 bin bags full of old clothes etc will be heading off to the charity shop very soon hopefully.
Its my birthday in less than a month(its on pancake day, feb 16th) so am looking into things I want and am possibly considering a breadmaker... But am not entirely sure
Hope your all doing well xx0 -
Hi all,
Well im back form the hospital and i just thourt that id let the ones of you who wont to know how i got on.
It seems taht some off the head pain that iv been getting is coming from a neve between my tempol and and eye. The doc seems to think this is because the last op that i had to remove the last tumor, Thay cut into me around by my ear, and went into my head that way. well when thay stiched me all back up he thinks that thay might have pulled the skin a bit too tight and its interfearing with this neve. (he says hes see it a few times before)
Anyweay he seems to think that this pain is adding to my other pain so plan of acshion is too inject this neve with some stuff that will frezee it or something like that. This will not solve the problem but it will sort it out for a time anyway and the plan to go on from there if the injechion works would be to repeat it every 4 months to keep it at bay.
He is going to leave my tablets as thay are for now.Halight Hope that the hospital can sort out your pain meds. You are a star carrying on like you do :A Is Selly Oak where all the soldiers from Afghanistan go for rehab?[Qoute/]
Sunny Girl yes it is selly oak that look after our soldiers, also the QE were i go to see my consulant thay look after them there too.
Both are very good hospitals but both are very old buildings thay have built a brand new hospital which is of a size you would never belive you can seee it for miles around that both hospitals will be moveing into. the new place is a really modem and iconic building.
Anyway have a great day everyone:j:j
Richard:jYou can have everything you wont in lfe, If you only help enough other people to get what they wont.:j0 -
Been signed off from the Physio, nothing more he can do which is a shame. At least there were no needles! He was embarrassed by the bruise he left last time. Apparently there may be a connection between the SAD and the sensitivity that I was showing last week.
Got petrol, cash and a few bits from Mr M that I can't get at ALdi, then a car wash down the road, went for the sort where they prescrub the car. Looking pretty dire it was.
Now back till school pick up at 5. Hope to make an impression on downstairs this morning. I didn't manage breakfast, well I did but it was a Star Bar! Will try and have a good lunch to make up for that. Banana and HM yogurt will feature, also some left over soup. DS has soup plus some pasta from last night and cake his gran made.
Onward. Have a good day all."Knowledge is knowing that a tomato is a fruit. Wisdom is not putting it in a fruit salad"

Sorry, haven't read PP but been dashing around like a mad thing so far. I've just got a bottle of Stardrops following other OS recommendations, and wondered how to use it! I want to do my hob and the bathroom needs doing too; do you dilute it / can you put it into a spray bottle or something (got an old bathroom cleaner bottle I can use).
Thanks!Flymarkeeteer: £168 and counting0 -
LiL Me: I bought a collapsing clothes airer from Argos, It takes two loads of washing. I also got over rad airers from Asda, Argos also sell them, they enable me to put stuff on the rads without compromising the wall paper; I often use them to finish off things that have been on the big airer. This morning I have the bedding on the line, undoubtably they will have to go on the airer when they come in but they will have had a blow in the wind. We are lucky that I can put the airer in the hall during the day, most things dry overnight.
Monday clean done, cleaned the limescale out of the bottom of the toilet, so it looks nice now......OH has a laod of stuff to take back to the bowls club its all on the bed, typical everywhere clean and tidy and 5 minutes later its all mucked up.
Must not grumble too much he has been in the garage all morning starting to pack up the garage and garden stuff thats going with us.
Alomsy lunch time, better raid the kitchen see what I can find!!!Was 13st 8 lbs,Now 12st 11 Lost 10 1/4lbs since I started on my diet.0 -
