    Hi all,
Well im back form the hospital and i just thourt that id let the ones of you who wont to know how i got on.

It seems taht some off the head pain that iv been getting is coming from a neve between my tempol and and eye. The doc seems to think this is because the last op that i had to remove the last tumor, Thay cut into me around by my ear, and went into my head that way. well when thay stiched me all back up he thinks that thay might have pulled the skin a bit too tight and its interfearing with this neve. (he says hes see it a few times before)
Anyweay he seems to think that this pain is adding to my other pain so plan of acshion is too inject this neve with some stuff that will frezee it or something like that. This will not solve the problem but it will sort it out for a time anyway and the plan to go on from there if the injechion works would be to repeat it every 4 months to keep it at bay.

He is going to leave my tablets as thay are for now.
Hi Halight - I have had quite a few of those blocks and they work well in my opinion. Good luck

A quiet day today. I spent the morning helping out with the school library (we're putting all the books on a computer system) I've just rescued next doors birdfeeder, which a squirrel had "liberated" and pulled through the hedge into our garden. The wildlife round here must be starving, yesterday we had 3 squirrels, next door had 2 deer and the badger is back making the rounds of the gardens. Considering we live about 1.5 miles from the very centre of Durham we do really well for wildlife. We have some friends coming to play with DS after school so I need to get some tidying up done. DH and I are going out for dinner so next door is babysitting, we haven't been out for ages. We're just going to the pub at the top of the road so nowhere fancy.

Bitsey - I always find that when the kids want Daddy all the time, the best thing to do is go out for the whole day. Don't do anything towards the day, just go on strike. You'll feel better for the break, DH appreciates what I do more and I'm greeted with huge hugs and kisses and loads of attention by the kids!

    You don't say.... :rolleyes::p
Glad you had fun but disappointed you couldn't find the bisto.

Meant to say thank you to JackieGlasgow for the microwave tablet recipe. It worked a treat. :T
Sorry to hear about your FIL PennyPincher. I hope you are feeling better and you got good news about your biopsy results. Sorry if I missed this. :o

Sorry I have only scanned the thread as I'm in the office trying to be industrious. :o
Made the beds, cleaned the bathroom, stripped a chicken, made sandwiches, cleaned the kitchen, made stock for tonight's soup all before I left this morning. Got another 2 eggs so far this morning. There must be at least 3 hens laying as we got 3 eggs yesterday. :j

I'm just off to take the dog to the forest where I'll sit on a bench with my coffee and throw sticks for her for half an hour. :D

Then off to Lidl and Aldi for the weekly shop, pick up the girlies and get on with the evening.

    Take care all.

    Afternoon all!

OS stuff has been clearing the utility, still plenty to do out there though, amazing how much rubbish I can fit into such a tiny room! Need to put a new floor down out there too, so that's next on the list, but not for today!

Have bunged stuff in bm, and sc is full of sausage casserole for the kids dinner tonight, kitchen is mopped and cleaned. Need to repair wm, something has come loose, so hopefully taking it apart will help, well I won't lose anything anyway!

Friend coming round for coffee in a bit, to help glue me together again! Been having a few probs with ex and things being on and off, and kids' dad has been a wee bit difficult! Anyway if I'm not posting it doesn't mean I'm not around, just that I'm trying to sort stuff out!

Hugs to all in need, going to grab something to eat and have a catch up before I tackle the wm and friend arrives. Ex due at some point as he has my car today - he's having a half day, but no idea whether he's back at lunchtime or back before I go to work tonight! Oh for a magic wand! xx

Good luck to all those doing exams DD2 is doing GCSE Chemistry today she is only 13 why do they make them do it so early they should be enjoying their time at school

I hope she does well. They do them early to allow for modules to be resat in years 10 and 11 to optimise overall grades which is good for the school's position in the league tables (well that is my opinion anyhow). DS1 is resitting the second chemistry module next week.

Its a bright morning a little puff of wind now and then, so the first lot of sheets are on the line. It will save me £1 if I get them dry on the line, so £1 into the moving fund!!! Lady collecting the freezer at lunchtime, that will go into the removal fund as well.

Too damp to put the wash on the line here, I envy you. Good idea about putting the £1 in a fund. I just parked a few streets away from the shopping centre and walked in to avoid the £1 fee - I think I'll start a put too.

Been to Aldi and the Galleria. Had lunch - more of the veg soup (think I'll freeze the last portion now).

    - there is a stardrops thread. I think you can use it undiluted on stubborn stains and on washing. Diluted in a spray bottle (1/10) for wiping around. I don't get on with it - it makes me cough and yet nothing else does.

JackieO good luck with your declutter - do you put your oldest clothes in the rag bag at the tip? You can put them in the supermarket collection bins bagged up an labelled for rags or give to the charity shop like that - saves landfil. Your friend June sounds lovely.

Sequeena - I use astonish cleaner paster about £1.25 from poundshop like places it is brilliant.

Bitsey I had a bedhopper last night so hope you got more sleep than I did

Just going to do a few jobs on here and then an hour's made flying to lick the house into shape is the order of the day.

    Drink? really?? ..... ;)

    Af'noon all

Nothing exciting here - back at work as the weekend went to quickly and the next one feels like it's a long long way away!

Made some sarnies for lunch from left over Gammon and they were lovely!

Just about caught up with the washing after last week and there;s just one load left to dry. Must have been something in the water round here yesterday as DS2 (who usually has a bad eyelash which prevents him doing anything but eat) voluntarily cleaned and hoover not only his own bedroom (including washing his bedcovers) he also hoovered the landing, straightened the bathroom and swept the hall for me!! As if that wasn't shocking enough - my husband (who has never before been aware of untidiness) tidied the kitchen washed & dryed the pots and put everything away....TWICE!! Clearly they have bothe been kidnapped by aliens and replaced by wannabe-flyladies!

    Long may it continue!!

Popped into town this morning to pay a few bills. Also went to the bank to pay in the contents of my HUGE piggy bank. £53 in 1p's and 2p's. was too heavy to carry so used my shopping trolley.
Had a new windscreen fitted on friday and when DH got in the car this morning the inside of the screen was soaking wet. It wasn't condensation as the other windows were dry so made a call to autoglass and they are coming back thursday morning to take it out and put another one in. the joys of motoring lol.
just had a bacon and tomato sandwich for lunch and it was yummy! Dinner tonight is beef stew and dumplings.
Have swept and mopped all hard floors, cleaned Georges cage and done a load of washing. Still need to hoover upstairs. Once that is done i will continue reading my library book which i cant seem to put down, last night i even picked it up and read a few lines whilst the adverts were on.
Anyway big hugs to those who need one!

    Afternoon Everyone!

Got up at 7am this morning which is early for me...I am really not a morning person and lay in bed until the last possible moment normally getting up at about 8am! :D I was very productive with my spare hour though and loaded the dw, put the wm on and cooked OH and myself breakfast! :j

I was at work this morning but took a half day's holiday for a docs appointment so will clean the bathroom before that, then go to the docs and pop into the farm shop on my way home. Need to mealplan and shop today too or else we won't be eating tonight  and that will not go down well!!! :p;)

    Have a great afternoon everyone!
