    Morning all :)

I'd just like to say thank you for all you good wishes over the past few days - they are very much appreciated :) I didn't phone home yesterday as I thought they probably needed the quiet time. I did order an outdoor mail box for them though - as my sister has bought her two dogs with her and they eat post - it's just a tiny thing.

I worked most of the weekend - drastically inefficently but anything I could do will help take the presure off during the week. I have a report due that I need to complete and quite a large experiment to carry out - and I can't afford to be distracted. At the weekend, I am on my own here pretty much, so I can concentrate better than I can when people ask me for stuff.

I bought the M&S dine in meal for dinner on Sunday (well, actually I bought it on Friday and forgot about it). I managed to get a really large chicken, so that fed us for dinner, sandwiches for tea, some chicken and rice thing OH made and there is still half a slow cooker of stock left and a huge bowl of cold meat in the fridge. I was amazed at how much came off of the thing. We still have the dessert in the fridge too - OH and I don't really do dessert, normally I choose cheese if they are including that instead. Finished teh wine though :)

I made fruit cake, which worked and chocolate sponge I cremated after falling asleep on the sofa. :) Still, as a recent convert to cake release, it did just slide out of the tin in one charred lump :)

Have agood day all, cel x

    Morning all :)

    Finally going out today :j

The girls have got fencing this afternoon and should be getting their grade 1 certificates :) Then they're off to the hairdressers.

I've been trying to get through to GP for an appointment to sort out meds, but it's always constantly engaged first thing. Will get that sorted though.

I'm going to put a stew in the sc before we go out so that dinner will be nice and easy to finish off, when we get back.

Other than that, not much OS but I'm going out :j:j:j [Can you tell I haven't been out in an age :D]

    Hope you're ok today Bitsy.

Hope you get on ok at the hospital halight.

Have a good day all :)

    Morning All,

Hope everyone is well and has had a nice weekend. Had my SD's over for the weekend and SD1 has got her A level retakes this week! Lots of good vibes for her - she needs to up her mark to a B otherwise she won't get into the Uni she wants to go to.

Well, for heaven's sake I've only been back at work for a week after my Christmas break and I'm thoroughly sick sick SICK of it. (And I've only been here half an hour this morning). I just don't care - I just don't!!!! I cannot make myself care about the budget and I just don't care whether they overspend or not - I can't be bothered to reign them in which is a shame really seeing as that's what they pay me for... ahem  Sorry for the rant, I'm just sat here this morning thinking, "Well I could do that, but I just don't care, so I won't." Potentially this is a bad attitude for a team leader... :D

OS wise, DH has pretty much rolled up his sleeves and taken over as I have simply been too tired to do anything much, bar work, travel home, sleep, eat and then sleep again. The only thing he cannot manage is ironing - he really is hopeless at it - and then he doesn't fold things properly so they end up creased after he's ironed them anyway  So I've been doing some but my legend of a Mum has been picking up a lot of my slack on that front recently!

Tea tonight is going to be bubble and squeak with eggs although seeing as I'm not allowed fried eggs anymore I may throw a strop and have mine with gravy to be awkward :D

Have lovely days everyone, hugs to all xx

Tried to log on yesterday so I could post, but couldnt for some reason, so just had to read.

Bitsy, I'm sorry you're having such a horrid time with lack of sleep at the moment. I have nothing to suggest, as was fortunate both mine were fab sleepers, but noticed you had loads of advice, so I hope some of it works for you. If one child is worse at waking that the other, is there any chance maybe one could stay at nannies whilst you do the controlled crying thing? Or could hubby maybe book a few days holiday from work so that he can be there to support you and share the load?

Am fully recovered from my horrendous bout of diahorrea last week thank goodness. The 5lbs I lost in a day is also creeping back on. I knew it would, but still kind of hoped it might have vanished for ever!

Today I am going to dye my hair, and got tons of laundry to do, as well as probably grocery shopping.

    Have a great day all.

    God morning :D

Sequeena you could try star drops and a non scratch scourer on the bath, that is what I use, works well.

Another place where it's pittling down, all the jobs DP had planned were outside based on good weather so you never know I might get some work out of him :D pigs might sprout wings too I suppose. I've just put some laundry on the radiators (been over a week since I used my TD so think I am doing ok) had a quick check in the freezer/fridge to see what I need to pick up today. I'm trying to run stocks down whilst recovering from DPs quiet spell at work. I think we're at a party tonight with a snacky tea provided for the boys, must check that one in a mo. Going to phone Dunelm too see if my curtains are in, as the website appears to be broken.

Hope you all have a lovely day x x
One day I might be more organised...........

It's wet and windy here too.

I'm at work but leaving at 2pm to go to Doctors appointment, and then I will visit my parents and then my nan on my way home. And I also need to pop to shops to get a gift voucher for my friend's birthday and some hair dye, so I'll either go at lunch or on way back from my visiting.

Tonight I am going to go to an open evening for a Welsh course that is being run locally. I did Welsh to GCSE and got an A in it, but haven't kept it up (that was almost 12 years ago!) and now I'm working in a much Welsh-ier place with people who actually speak Welsh daily I thought I would learn again. I'm good at languages so hopefully I'll pick it up again quickly. I can have basic conversations now but not much else! The class will be 2 hours a week.

OS wise - I'll probably have a freezer meal unless my parents offer to feed me! Need to finish unpacking my case from this weekend. WM will go on tonight as I got up too late to use the cheap electricity this morning!

    Have a good day all
