After faffing around with my iPod me and Madonna bounced around singing and I managed to:
* make the beds
* unload WM
* take down yesterday's washing and put away / put for ironing
* hang up wet clothes
* pick up 'hot spots' in lounge (mainly put toys away in box)
* cleared mantelpiece and just wiped it down with some Star Drops in warm water - looks lovely!
Going to keep going as on a roll, then lunch and off to walk Pip for a bit.
ps can see the Avatars now - thanks for that GreenbeeFlymarkeeteer: £168 and counting0 -

Hugs Ruthie, I hope you aren’t in too much pain xx
Toots, glad you had a nice time at Cornhill, sorry to hear the sad news
Valli, I meant to say, I got your parcel yesterday, thanks so much! It was really funny when the post came, as I had a parcel from Vistaprint, a new skirt from ebay, a sock cat a friend had sent me, a package of wool, one of buttons, and one of sequins! The poor postman! It was exciting opening them all though! 7 parcels in one day! Wow!
Love and hugs to Diva – I love seeing you post and I love that you mention me every day!
Love and hugs to Lady Liberty if she is reading
Poppy hugs for you and DS
Hugs Gotnodosh, alcoholism is a terrible disease. I hope your ex will be able to kick the booze and be a bit more reliable for his kids. My uncle is an alcoholic, but has not drunk since 1997, so it is possible. He was able to rebuild his relationship with his kids and they love him to bits now.
Hellsbells glad things are getting better for your DD and her schooling
I got to the doctors last night - she said I've got a boil, so it's nothing to worry about. She was a big shocked at how big it is though! She gave me some penicillin and wants me to go back in 48 hours. She's also sending me for blood tests to see why I'm so tired and can't stay awake for very long. I think it's probably just winter depression but we will see.
I'm going to put my lightbox on now and try to do a few bits of flying"Snowflakes are one of nature's most fragile things, but just look what they can do when they stick together."

Wednesday ~ Living room and other reception rooms!
Done! :j
Also got cover off white sofa ready for washing and vacuumed under it. Been putting off for ages but realised everything will be easier WITHOUT baby so best do it now!
Emptied binds
Kids are having lunch at their little table in the LR though so there will be crumbs to deal with.
Thought I was done but decluttered kids to their room while I vacuumed and just looked in to see utter chaos where they've left it - beds unmade and toys out! Looks bad but I know it'll only take a few mintues to fix, waiting for them to finish lunch so they can help though.
May actually go sit down with cup of tea and a magazine now...June Grocery Challenge £493.33/£500 July £/£500

Afternoon all
Today's list done (did it yesterday) and today I've done all the bedrooms. Two loads of washing draped round, including the bedding.
Sausage and tomato pie made for dinner so I've just got to switch the oven on about 12.30.
We've had snow this morning but it only pitched on the grass and it seems to have stopped now. Feels very cold and damp out though.0 -

Just popping in quickly.......not a hope in hell of doing any flying I'm afraid.....so apologies for off topic post......I have had a very bad bout of pain the last few days, which then lets the BD in...but I have increased my morphine & I'm slowly getting on top of it.Money_saving_Diva wrote: »

Morning everyone
Also looks like I'm going to have to walk to work. There's a furniture warehouse fire just down the road from me (Rach - that reclaim one on the back road near Aldi and sort of behind the pub on HH Road) and the main road there is closed which means my bus won't be going through there.
It's also sort of next door but one to the garage where I dropped my car off yesterday :eek: I suspect this may mean that my car might not get fixed today. But, I'm glad of the rain, at least it'll wash off any of the suspected asbestos :eek::eek: from the fire....
The cynic in me wonders if there'll be a planning application for more one bed rabbit hutches some time soon - it's a nice big plot!
I might just plan my walking route to work past the scene. I have a camera in my handbag :cool:
Will fly when I get home
Obviously they hadn't read the fly lady extra:D jobs for today!0
