Being on a mac won't affect your ability to see avatars (I'm on one too), but you need to go into the user CP on this site and make sure your settings allow you to see them.

Hi All - I am still flying - I just dont have time keep up with all the thread and post all the time, but I am here and lurking and reading some posts when I can!

Im spending less time on the computer and more time actually flying!! :D

Loads of love n hugs all round - especially Toots, LL, Diva and everyone else in need at the moment xx

ETA - re the stainless Steel conversation - Baby Oil is great for shining your stainless steel, but it doesnt remove the grease spots and actual dirt which is stubborn which was first mentioned. My hob, oven and extractor-fan-thing-above the cooker are all steel. I put a spot of neat stardrops on a cloth and wipe the stubborn marks off first. Wipe it off with a damp cloth and then use the baby oil to finish. Sparkling results every time. HTH :D xx
:)Sometimes lurking, sometimes posting, but always flying:)

  • Morning all have decluttered DD2 to school and DS to driving lesson.
Have done WM x 2 and am just about up to date - have done all those awkward handwashing items that lurk for weeks....:j

After 6 months on here I am starting to see a difference - I am cracking the washing/ironing....the piles of c**p are slowly shrinking and I am more organised.

I am in danger of feeling slightly more positive about myself!!! Thanks for all your support!

Poppytime - you don't say (or I have missed - more likely) how old your DS is - why not head to your GP and have a chat about your worries?

Ironing pile is looking eminently more do-able:rolleyes::rolleyes:...

Off to put more towels in WM - then it's sorting out DD1 and heading off to work - today is the day I help with KS1 swimmimg...fantastic new pool (on the other side of the city:mad::mad::mad:)...great facilities but the acoustics are s****!!!!!!!!! Great for a class of 25 nonswimmers........
    :jFlylady and proud of it:j

    ALL DONE
This wasn`t as bad as I thought, as we had a mahoosive clear out when we took the christmas decorations down. I`ve also kept on top of everything else, which is a miracle in itself. Only day 3 I know, but I feel i`m finally getting somewhere, thanks to everyone. I`m also finding I`m spending alittle less time on the computer and actually doing my flying. So a BIG:grouphug: to everyone, just because I feel like it.

  • Been dreading the sitting room - for some reason it's in a complete tip this week!

Don't think it helped that we sorted all the coats on the floor in here last weekend - and didn't clear up properly afterwards. So the coffee table is covered with all the things that came out of the pockets of coats that were 7 or 8 years old... plus all the gibble like disintegrating tissues, buttons, old shopping lists, bus tickets, interesting sparkly pebbles, paper clips...

OK. No excuses. Let's get on with it.

10:15 to 10:45 should see the room decluttered and ready for a hoover... On your marks.....
