Nutty, I am so sorry to hear about your dog - they really do become one of the family. Your mum is lucky to have you close by and you can help each other through this. Big hugs to you xx

Just got back from walking the dog and I swear it was all uphill apart from a little bit of downhill! My hips feel achy as I really strode out (want to tone up a bit) but the dog is a proper little dynamo and she finished much stronger than me, even though she's only a JRT !!!

Just decluttered some more St Peter's Mud Pie (yummy), having a cup of tea and then off to get DD from school. Have typing to do when I get back but at least it's paid work.

Does anyone else find themselves sitting and looking at all the clutter and wondering what on earth to do with it? I really try to sort it, but DD is so emotionally attached to everything and DH can find a use for everything that to get rid of anything is a major trauma. I don't just throw things out when they're not here as I don't think that's fair (and I know DH would find out I'd done it and be ).

    Any ideas?

Got my Thrify Ways book by Martin Lewis arrived this morning (Pip christened it by grabbing it when it was coming through the letter box and leaving her teeth mark impression on the covers ) and we're going to look at yogurt makers this evening on the internet so am definitely getting more OS than I was!

Just taken delivery of a memory foam mattress topper and wrestled it upstairs, unpacked it and wrestled it over the banister. It's got to air for 72 hours before I can use it.

    Blimey, that was heavy!

Not much done off my lists at all but have been out for an hour break and bought new pillows for all the bedrooms – the old ones were looking so manky

Toots – Sorry to hear about the loss at Cornhill but is good that you enjoyed your visit
Cyclingyorkie – My son will be 18 at the end of this month and has been going through a difficult time for quite a while and I don’t think that his father and I parting ways has helped the situation
Diva – Continued thoughts for Tris and his friend
Rosepink – Hope you are feeling better and over your bad patch soon
BenW – Enjoy your time away
Nuttyrockeress – Hugs for you and your Mum over the loss of Reggie
Mumof2 – I have quite a few leather look storage boxes dotted about which hold quite a lot in the way of books, dvds, games etc. They can double up as a small table and hide a multitude of sins. Also bought a set of 3 wicker baskets with hinged lids which fit under a coffee table which I find invaluable.
LadyL – Glad to hear you are feeling a little better. Big hugs for you
Jinky – Are you on strike :p

Monday ~ Kitchen, Utility and Dining Area

Make any important phonecalls you have been putting off

    Extras

    2. Clean out pets
    3. Clear mantle of junk, wipe/polish and return pretties
    4. Empty and wash out any bins
I'd rather laugh with the sinners than cry with the saints - the sinners are much more fun ;)
