I was lucky. As I got to the cordoned off area, so did someone I know who, I hadn't realised, was a trustee of the reclaim business that rents the building. He, bless him, got me through the cordon so I was able to take close ups of the building and ancillary interesting sights like that one above

It looks like the building may have to come down - at least parts of it which is a real shame.

I also saw the manager of the garage where my car is waiting at the cordon. He said they'd managed to do most of my work yesterday so it was ready this afternoon after all. Otherwise, given they had no power until 1.30pm because of the fire, it wouldn't have been ready for another day. But, BB and I walked up there this afternoon and brought the car back.

It's been getting colder this afternoon and we have a very interestingly coloured cloudy sky. I wonder if we'll get some snow after all....

But, I'd better go do the stars for Toots and then prep dinner - DS and DiL are coming over tonight for chicken soup so that needs to be made.

All done.. including the extras hehe. Did most of the heavy work at the weekend so it just needed a quick wipe round and tidy today. I am sooo plaesed with myself... its wednesday and I havent disappeared hehe.

Off to sort that shopping list for tonight, off to Mr A's when DP gets in from work!!!

I write down my list of what I have to do so I don't switch the pc on....cos if that goes on then no flying gets done! And on that bit of paper I write down my page & post number! Otherwise I'd never remember & this thread moves soooo fast!

However had lunch with former work colleagues and caught up with the gossip plus went into Boots and now have 5 future presents which would have cost £52 for £12 :T

Nothing apart from that - really struggling to get up in the morning and do not want to do anything. Nowt wrong just winter CBA.

My HH turned into an hour because my freezer turned up.:j I'm so happy to have 2 freezers again.

Made Ds1's sandwich for tomorrow
Cleaned behind old freezer:eek: it had masses of weird soil like stuff underneath it i didn't realise it was wet until i tried to hoover it up with my new dyson:o. The pipe behind it is slowly dripping. I hope i haven't broken it.
Took wrapping off new freezer & put it in place

Ds2 is having a paddy because he wanted me to help him tidy his toys up and i was busy and told him to wait 2 mins and i would. So he's gone off on one.:rolleyes: Ds1 even offered to help him and was told to go away. He's sat in the passage telling his teddy about the nasty Mummy for not helping.:cool:
