For the rock I would syn it the same as a boiled sweet, it is the same thing just a different shape really so would be depending on the weight:
Sweets, basic, Boiled sweets, 28g 4½
As far as thickening gravy it is difficult to do it syn free but I find using a bit of smash or other dried potato works for me!

Well a not too bad day today so far eating wise.
Had a lie in so no breakfast
Lunch: 2 boiled eggs on toast (HEB) with a little low fat butter (2 syns)
Slimfast choc bar5 syns I think
Bag of oranges
No idea what to have for dinner, I have very little in the house and the shopping doesn't arrive till Wednesday. And frankly just can't be bothered - DH has gone back today and I'm feeling a bit depressed and sorry for myself. Don't think I'll go off the rails although I will deffo use up the rest of my syns.
Might also try to go for a walk or a run tonight and see if that perks me up a bit.0 -
Thanks for the answers re stock cubes
it's great to know as I make lots of soups and don't like using Vecon as a stock base.
Cheers

hello, can I come and join you for a while please?
I think I need a little extra SW specific support to get me going again. I lost 2.5 stone a couple of years ago with the wonderful SW but have gradually slipped and a stone has crept back on.
I can't seem to find my motivation, so thought if I commit to a week here for starters, to see if I can remain focussed, that might get me going.
I think SW is fab, particularly as I am on meds that make me hungry so need plenty of food at times. I do best on original days.
I think my goal is half a stone at this stage.I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once0 -

Hello BB! There is loads of support on here! Motivation is so hard to find at this time of the year, I am also struggling with it. Got weighed in this morning and put on a pound:(. I am going to try and just do one day at a time and see how that goes.

Thanks marion:D. I agree, this can be a really pants time of year motivation wise unless you have that initial 'surge of enthusiasm' feeling.
The new year used to be 25th March until 1752 and that would be a much better time, lol.
So I've not been beating myself up over it, but now it is Feb we are getting a little closer to spring and I'd love to fit into last summers clothes if we get a bit of early springweather in April.
Losing weight can only be good for my joints too (I have arthritis all over) so again, with better weather I want to be able to get out a bit more and improve my fitness and carrying a little less weight can only help.
I also need to get cycle fit so I make more use of my dutch bike I told you about last year.I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once0 -

Not trying to alarm anyone,it's just that this is on of my particular weaknesses and I know my chips:p:o:rotfl:
Yes, I took that from the food directory and I have to say, I thought it was a bit low, in our area, you get enough chips to sink a battleship - not that I go to the chippy you understand :rotfl::rotfl:I let my mind wander and it never came back!0
