  • An average portion of chippy chips is 227gms and 27syns on an Original day or 17½ on Green so a quarter portion would be about 7 syns on O and 4 syns on G.

I understand that sw work on averages for takeaway food but I have to say that judging from the last potion of chip shop chips I had even a small portion would weigh far more than 8 oz.In fact I would hazard a guess at double!
Not trying to alarm anyone,it's just that this is on of my particular weaknesses and I know my chips:p:o:rotfl:

Lost another 2lbs this week - WI day today but have been out for lunch today as MILs birthday. Had a carvery so mainly beef and veggies but did have gravy, yorkshire pud and 2 roasties - also had a sliver of birthday cake and a glass of wine BUT only had yoghurt and banana for brekkie and only having fruit later if hungry.

The way I look at it I have all week to fix it and wasn't gonna not have what I wanted today :D

Well done on the weight loss, and the perfect example of sw in action:D:T:A:rotfl:

S= Fruit and yogs, tea with milk (hea2)

    Morning folks,

Had a good weekend SW wise, stuck to plan and was quite surprised not to be picking all day as was at home all day yesterday. Probably helped that I kept distracting myself by hopping on and off the Wii sports and wii fit - have hardly been on it since we got it but really getting into it now. OH is too, which surprises me as it doesn't seem like his thing. There's nothing more surreal than seeing a big 6'2" beardy ginger man doing step aerobics with a loads of Miis and swearing when he gets the steps wrong!

    Anyway, red day again today:
B: Porridge (HEB), half a toffee ML, banana
L: Roast chicken breast, EL mayo (0.5 syns), Asda wholemeal pitta (HEB), cottage cheese, pear
T: Beef stroganoff (4 syns for the sauce), broccoli
S: Probably Skinny Cow (4.5) and Options (2)

Hope everyone has a good day

    Weight loss - Apr '12 -Sept '13: 95lb
  • Good morning!!

I'm a very happy bunny as it was WI on the wii today and I had lost 4lbs since last Tuesday :j

A red day today me thinks:
B - a banana now and then 2 wholemeal toast from 400g loaf (HEB) with 2 x laughing cow light (HEA)
L - Not sure as I really struggle to think of lunches on a red day, any ideas?
D - Leftover beef, HM coleslaw with light mayo (2 syns), salad and a jkt spud (HEB)
S - SS milk with tea (HEA), fruit

DH has some raspberry and white choc fairy cakes in the oven at the moment which he is taking to work so may very well have to syn one of those, I'm guessing at about 4 syns does this sound right?

    HF79 xx:)

  • Question - is there a way to go directly to the first unread post on this board - I don't see one - it would save trawling through loads of pages (which is what I'm doing now!!)

Weekend was ok - not necessarily SW but def low calorie -
    Saturday was like this:
B: weetabix x2 with skim milk
L: went to work without my packed lunch so popped to the shop and got a ML and fruit
D: steak with mushrooms, onions, tomato and SW chips (*slurp*)
    S: wine *blush*

    Sunday
B: hubby had got to the fridge before me and had finished off the skim milk so I just had a ML (need to go shopping!!)
L: roast beef, loads of veg and some boiled spuds (no milk or butter)
D: none as not hungry - but I did have a coupla glasses of vino (seeing a pattern here??!!)

    Today will be EE:

B: weetabix x2 with skim milk (HEb and 1/2 HEa)
    L: baked spud and salad
D: not sure - it's gotta be something quick - I have to go to yoga at 7.00
    S: froot and yogs.....
