Hi everyone, an extra easy day today and had the following:

breakfast muller light and a cup of tea
lunch omlette with onions, peppers and mushrooms, tea and a kit kat (5 1/2 syns)
dinner chilli with rice and salad

Not had a bad day at all. I'm going out for dinner tomorrow (tepanyaki so it should be low syn, a concert on monday where i wont be drinking and another on tuesday so have to go to early weigh in and miss the image therapy. Hoping for at least a 2lb loss.

Wow, a yohurt and tea wouldn't keep me going all morning, I would have had some cereal or fruit with it :)

  • Sorry haven't posted for a while. Can't claim to have been 100% food optomising this weekend :o but feel I haven't done too bad considering DH is home. Three glasses of wine in total (and probably one more tonight ;)). My guess would be maybe 10 syns a day over but I feel in control of it which is a plus. I've also done ok on the exercise - running yesterday and swimming.

And I had a sneaky WI this morning and finally saw 11.7 on the scales :T:T This was my goal for end Jan so I'm really pleased!

    Good morning!

    Red for me today:

B: Asda golden syrup Simply Porridge (HEB + 1.5 syns - would have thought they were the same syns as syrup OSS but they are much sweeter)
L: Bacon butty (HEB), brown sauce (1 syn)
T: Beef stir fry, maybe use a sachet of sauce (around 2.5-3.5 syns depending on sauce)
S: Milk (HEA), pear, yogurt, see how many syns are left for a little snack before bed :)

Hooked on the tennis at the mo - was watching it a few days ago so got into playing Wii tennis and baseball yesterday, right bicep is sore today! Will have another go on that and the Wii Fit later.

Have a great Sunday everyone x

  • Hi - I recall these are 7.5 per pack - can they be counted as a HE B choice with less syns?

    Thanks

    Hi,

I don't know if they technically should be but I do since you can have 6 syns of porridge oats as a HEB.

(BTW the Quaker ones are 6.5 but the Asda ones are 7.5)

  • Morning!

Yesterday didn't quite go as planned on the exercise front as I had only jogged a mile down the road when I had a minor asthma attack and had to come home. Think it was the cold which got to my chest. Going to try and do more today either outside or at the gym.

    Another red day food wise:
B - SW full english: poached eggs, grilled bacon with fat removed, mushrooms cooked in worcestershire sauce and a bit of water, grilled tomatoes and 2 M & S 93% pork sausages which I synned at 4 1/2 each and a tsp of tomato sauce at 1 syn.
L - not sure yet probably won't be hungry after breakfast
D - Roast beef with lots of veg, will have SW roast pots (skin left on and done in fry light) as a HEB and will syn a bit of gravy perhaps
S - SS milk with tea (HEA), 2 x ryvita crunch (HEB), fruit and some mini babybel light (HEA)

Back to the decorating now (I hate painting skirting boards )

    Hope everyone enjoys their Sunday,

  • Don't be downhearted, but don't get weighed midweek again either :D TOTM can add up to 4lbs with your body holding extra fluid so that could easily be a factor.

Wait till weigh-in day and you'll be pleasantly surprised I bet. If TOTM interferes, then just keep plugging away till weigh-in next week and it'll all show at once.

Do trust the plans, they really, really work - honestly!

Thanks for the replies, today is my official weigh in andi have lost 0.5 lb, which i know isn't a lot, but have stomach ache, so no something is about to happen! i will still carry on, as i am not finding it as such a diet and more of a lifestyle change and i know that is what i need, i am enjoying the plan.:)

ARGH!!! I've just scoffed two penguin biscuit bars as I'm soooo hungry waiting for my lunch......that add some cocoa powder in my porridge (don't ask!) has probably over done the syns now!

Cadbury Cocoa, dried 1 level tsp

½ Syn on Extra Easy Original ½ Syn Green ½ Syn

Penguins are 5.5, so 11.5 altogether...you're fine! You still have 3.5 left if you want them!

Went out drinking last night...so had wine in the first place...then decided I wanted to stay out a bit longer...and it all went downhill from there, yesterday was officially a 'flexible' syns day. My friends wanted a McDonalds before they went home...so I ended up getting one too...a veggie burger and chips, I don't wanna know! Was feeling a bit hungover today but have stuck to the plan, having bramley apple quorn sausages (suprisingly, free) some onion gravy, sainsburys instant mash, (free) and I'm gunna have an aunt bessies yorkshire too, Not really counting syns today, just trying to eat well otherwise the hangover might bite back...
