HELP! i feel realy deflated this morning - i have been sticking to the EE plan (this the end of my second week) haven't cheated and have averaged about 7 syns a day until last night, when i drank half a bot wine (16 syns). my weigh in day is sun, but decided to weigh myself this morning, as i felt slimmer and the scales said i had put 1 x lb ON, it is my time of the month next week - do you think it is that, or do you think it is the wine, i have had no crisps, chocolate or cider (my downfall) since i started.
i didn't eat anything extra last night while i was having the wine, so pleased about that, but just feel disheartened.

Don't be downhearted, but don't get weighed midweek again either :D TOTM can add up to 4lbs with your body holding extra fluid so that could easily be a factor.

Wait till weigh-in day and you'll be pleasantly surprised I bet. If TOTM interferes, then just keep plugging away till weigh-in next week and it'll all show at once.

Do trust the plans, they really, really work - honestly!

Can you have wheat free pasta on the green and extra easy plan, thinking of going back to slimming world but have to avoid wheat and quite a few of the recipes contain pasta.
    Thanks

What would it be made of if not wheat? If it's rice, then it would still be free on the Green and Extra Easy plans.
    HTH :)

Hi, my first time on here, I'm never gona b able to keep up, lol. My other half has started slimming world and I'm trying to help by doing it at home aswell, I found here very useful for new Ideas of things to eat. The hardest part we are findind is we both work 12 - 8pm so having our tea at a "normal" time is the part we are struggling with.

Im looking for a recipe for lasange without using quorn if anyone knows of any.

It doesn't matter what time you eat, it's what you eat that matters. I have members who do regular night shifts and so their eating pattern is completely reversed to most of us, but Food Optimising works just the same.

To make it a little easier for you to have something ready when you get home late, it might help if you had a slow cooker so that you can throw everything in before you go to work and have a meal there for you when you come home.

PS: Mmm that lasagne sounds nice Rob :)

Hi peeps, just come on quickly to catch up on today's posts - OH is writing up his PhD thesis and has been working hard today so I haven't been able to get on the computer! He got in a bit of a stop last night when I said he should count the syns in beer - he said he doesn't care and wants to rebel but I told him to he would only be cheating himself and to stop being such a big baby, that shut him up! *snigger*

    Anyway, green day today:
B: None - had a cup if tea then wasn't hungry...
L: ...but got back from Asda and was starving so had toast (HEB) with 5g butter (2 syns), 2 poached eggs and beans
T: HM special fried rice with quorn
S: Milk (HEA), Options (2 syns) - still need to use HEB and syns so might have an OSS later (+0.5 syns) and a Skinny Cow

Also, don't be afraid to have your full quota of syns - it won't mean you'll lose less and, in fact, can often mean that you'll lose more :D

Thanks Consultant - in the past I've tried to have few syns to try and get a bigger loss and know it doesn't really work, but I'm glad to have it confirmed!

Just watching the end of So You Think You Can Dance - got tickets to be in the audience next week, WOOP WOOP!!! :j

Yeah, you can do it!! 1lb a week, which is definitely achievable, will give you a loss of more than a stone in 4 months :)
