I am thinking of making a chicken lasange, for the 'cheese sauce' I thought about using quark with some pesto stirred in, with some low fat cheese sprinkled on top (either heb or syns) any thoughts on how it might turn out or have I completely lost the plot:idea:0

Hmmm haggis, neeps & tatties for a late Burn's Night tomorrow night(with no whisky gravy or fruit of ANY kind!)
Just to let you know that haggis is 3 syns per ounce  I had some last week and my consultant kindly informed me. She did make a couple of go suggestions though. Taking the 1 oz of haggis and stuffing it in a chicken breast, serving with neeps and tatties, (yum )
or
mixing an oz of haggis with mince, serving with neeps and tatties. You still get the spicy haggis through it, but it goes further. She told me this too late.
One of my all time favourite disgusting breakfasts is, beans on toast with haggis mixed through topped with grilled cheese......I can feel my heart constricting at the thought.:santa2::xmastree::santa2:0 -
Yeah I know nic - that'll be my syns if I can stay off the whisky! FIL won't let me spoil a good meal by doing anything to it, so as in years past it'll just be haggis, neeps & tatties (1/3 superfree
). Just hope it doesn't involve an ambulance again this year (too many drams for FIL who fell down the stairs!)
I want to try the Indian restaurant in Edinburgh that does the haggis samosa's! We've also seen on menu's recently the lamb or chicken breast stuffed with haggis - sounds delightful and we must try it. I like the sound of your brekkie nic!You can tell where my heart lies!
