LJW - looks good to me - you've got another HEb to use though if you want/need it! :D

Thanks Skint_Catt, think I finaly have my head around it now. Just need to plan more so I can be varied and not rushed! Determined to do well after last weeks 1/2 loss.

Am i right in thinking that flexi syns are saved up ones?
  • Hello and welcome to the thread and to SW :D

If you make your meals from scratch, you're half-way to a healthy diet anyway, so just follow the recipes online for loads of choice and you'll be fine.

You don't really need to be very active to lose weight with food optimising, but it does help.
Thankyou for the encouragement - i've had a good read and plan to start tomorrow. To be honest it doesnt look too different to my usual diet, although I guess I eat too large portions of some things - like porridge in the mornings - so shall keep a food diary as advised. The biggest problem I anticipate is finding a way to calculate syns from my home-baking - it's vegan. Any advice anyone?
I've had a read back a few pages and you're inspiring!

LJW - no, flexi syns are the new version of saved up syns.

SW now believes that denying then binging on saved syns is a bad thing, so you have 5 - 15 syns EVERY day but the one day you want more then you just set yourself a higher limit (say 60 or 100). Keep counting, stay in control, then back to normal for the next day - still having your 5 - 15 syns.

WCS - scanbran are a bit like Ryvita available from class or Holland & Barrett shops. They are very cardboardy & dry but I'm starting to love them with my dairylea triangles! i actually have these for lunch now but it's taken me quite a while to get used to them! They are 100% fibre and are great for your diet.

Ryvita's I guess are the next best thing - I think you can have 4 as a HEb (original/sesame or Rye only)

  • 4.5 pounds on for me.Knew it was goona be bad.I've had an awful week and am due on.Gonna knuckle under and try one of the 7 day plans from the mag.

On the other hand,I'm happy I went to weigh in and stayed to image therapy.I even admitted my gain. Before I would just not bothered going to class at all and probably given up all together.I'm definitely changing my mindset.

I must be the only person that gone nack after their first week and gained!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am now the heaviest I've ever been (even wneh I was pregnant I was a couple of pounds lighter) and I will not let myself get any bigger.
    :T:jHalf a stone off,only another 2 to go!:j:T
