What about a chilli? I'm not a very adventurous sort and like you, hate having to decide what to have each day.I let my mind wander and it never came back!0 -
Thanks consultant - I did suggest a chilli but we had one a while ago so it's a option but we haven't had lasagne for months!0

Having had two bads weeks and gaining 2.5lbs I thought I must write everything down, so I cant add what i did yesterday, its so annoying.
My day wasnt as good as I planned, I forgot my lunch but had a couple of mugshots in my drawer, 1 was 1% and the other 3% fat. So synned there! dont know how many! Was still hungry had a baked potato and beans so free.
Then given a piece of tiffin 10 syns
Was given a fairy cake so 5 syns there
then had two chicken legs with my sw chips.
today I have only had boiled rice with ml rasp and banana
and a banana mid morning.
I feel I need to be hand held through this diet cos I am not going to make it, otherwise...
I should say my day was predominantly green
As Nic said, you really need to plan your days in advance. It's too hard if you come in after a busy day and have nothing to hand and have to start trying to think what you can have. If you make out a menu for the week, make sure you have the food in the cupboards or freezer, life is 100% easier.
One of the best things I ever bought was a slow cooker. They're quite cheap now and so easy to use and cheap to run. You can just throw everything in before going out in the morning and come home to a lovely, fully cooked, nutritious meal at night - it couldn't be easier!I let my mind wander and it never came back!0 -

How do the other ladies find their weight loss when on "That" Time of the month?
Your body can retain up to 4lbs of extra fluid at that TOTM, so don't worry if it doesn't look too good at weigh-in this week. Normally the Consultant will mark your weight record card with a * so that you (and she) knows that a gain or STS is normal.
Try to have some low-syn treats to hand so that you can indukge yourself without losing the plot entirely. Cadbury's Highlights or Options hot chocolate drinks are only 2 syns and can help with choccie cravings. Curly Wurlys are fairly low syn and, if kept in the fridge (or even freezer) for a while, last ages.......and they're yummy tooI let my mind wander and it never came back!0 -

in the first post of this thread there is a link to some good recipes. Also the website has loads and my fave is the SW mag. There is loads of good recipes, I cant wait for each new one to come out to see what we will be eating that week lol.:santa2::xmastree::santa2:0 -
evening,
just eaten my stirfry/fried rice and it was delicious.
i got given a small packet of little biscuits today by someone. Have had a couple and they are delicious but as they're from the baker there's no way of knowing how synful they are. As there only an inch square and I've had three Ireckon that if I forgo the chocolate digestive I was going to have with my tea then I should be OK.
Haven't planned tomorrow yet but I think I might have eggs for breakfast and I need a big lunch as supper will be very late.Trying to keep in budget.

There are menu plans on the SW website. One of the best ways to get to grips with the plan is to buy the magazine. If you go to group it's around £1 cheaper to buy from there than the paper shop. Also if you go to group (or know anyone who does) there's a little book called Delicious Food Optimising Days which retails for about £2.95 and is brilliant for giving you an idea of how to plan your meals for a day.
