Hi, mind if I join you too?

Am a bit of an old hand at SW. I went for 3-4 yrs, got to target and maintained quite nicely for a while then relocated and lost the plot. That was a couple of years ago.

Am now heavier than when I first started :o but want to get going again, get to target and stay there.

Will officially start at the end of next week, but will be following SW so far as is possible and upping my exercise until then while watching this thread if that's OK?
  • Hello ladies, new to all of this so first post here comes, and fingers crossed it works. Firstly I was very excited to stumble across this forum, you are all full of excellent advise and handy tips - and motivating too!

I did bodyoptimise Autumn time last year and to be honest I didnt loose as much as I wanted, maybe I did it wrong. I still have all the lists so on and so forth so am going to give it a go again with more OMPHHHHH this time.

So thanks for your thread and see you all soon (well so to speak!)
  • Hi everyone!

I started SW last Wednesday and am currently loving the plan!! I'm absolutely stuffed every day and am not finding any food a problem!! Managed to have some ice cream last night after dinner, all within my 15 Syns!!

Got a bit of a journey to get to goal, but I'm sure that with help from my group and Consultant (and you guys of course!) I'll get there eventually!!

Hello, I haven't posted this year so far! I was doing really well, and last weigh in my total weight lost was 12lbs but then I had some very sad news, and being blunt, I ate to numb myself and couldn't bring myself to go to group, I am fairly sure i have gained about 4lbs, and although it isn't the end of the world, i feel a bit lost. I am having real issues staying focused, so I want to go back to group tomorrow to try to get back on track, I'm still fairly new to it, but does anyone know if I can just have a word with the consultant quietly as i think if i have to speak in front of the group i will cry my heart out (not about the weight gain just stuff) :(
Hope everyone is well, and i am now going to read the thread backwards! Well done to everyone x

    :hello: Hello!
My Mum and aunt have been trying to persuade me to join SW and tonight I'm going along for the first time
I tried Weight watchers a couple of times, but I found it boring and difficult to stick to so I'm hoping I find this a lot easier!
I'm hoping to lose about 2 stone as I was at my happiest and most confident at that weight. It would put me back to around a 14/16 dress size. I don't really want to go smaller than that as I would miss my curves too much! :rotfl:
I hope to be posting here soon to report my first pound or two :D

Foi - I steam my veg as it retains most of it's flavour then, but it's still easy to overcook. Try cooking for less time and making it more 'al dente' than soggy! I know I have a habit of overboiling veg as I try to time it with something in the oven!
