thanks Gpuk, i ended up just eating some from the tub lol!

Bad day today: had a steak, salad and SW wedges for dinner then disaster struck and i had a rhubarb crumble and custard! It was only a teensy bit of crumble and it was healthy living custard but added to my kit kat earlier i recon I came in at 17.5 syns today!!!!! I think it's partly to do with that time of the month I just want sugar!

Have you tried making a mousse with sugar-free jelly?

Make up the jelly with ½ pint water. Allow to cool but not set then add in a big tub of very low fat/fat free yoghurt. Whisk madly until the volume is around double then leave it to set.

This makes a huge bowlful which you can pick at all day for just 2 syns and takes the edge off a sweet tooth. You could always add some chopped fresh fruit too.
I let my mind wander and it never came back!
  • morning all,

will catch up with all these posts later, not been on since friday!

well i'm expecting a +1lb tonight, hoping for a sts though! but i've not been on plan for a few days. my new size 12's were feeling a bit tight yesterday and i felt sluggish from not being on plan so my motivation has come back. however i'm only slightly on plan today as we have no food in the house! i've made a shopping list and planned evening meals out for the week:

    tues: bolo
    wed: stir fry
    thur: stew
    fri: gammon
    sat: burgers
    sun: chicken, cheese & bacon

i'm doing extra easy, can anyone suggest some lunchs? i'm quite fussy and don't like salad or mushrooms or mayo or things like that!

planning on fruit & yogurt for breakfasts so should have a HEB to use for lunch.

    thanks x
  • also could anyone tell me a free natural yogurt as i don't think they sell the one i use at tesco and i'm going to do a tesco online.
  • Hello All,

Started back to Slimming World last thursday after not going since Sept 09, and have put all the weight back on that i lost. I think it was mainly because i wasn't ready to loose the weight, iykwim?

I now feel really motivated, i have stopped eating chocolate all together as that was my let down, have not eaten it for 18 days now and don't really miss it.

I am attending a group that is brand new and i am not really sure how i feel about it, the leader is new and it was only her 2nd week. The group are very loud. I am going to give it a couple more weeks and see how i feel, and then i might have to move groups.

Really need to do a shopping list for shopping on Thursday but can't think what to cook for the next week, will have a trawl through the slimming world website i think.

    morning ladies! (long post alert!)

i havent been on since friday (i think!). Friday night was naughty; tin curry sauce, few chips(not SW! :(), Snack-a-Jacks, and a WW Chocolate Cak bar.

Saturday got off to a good start, scrambled eggs, bacon and 1 nimble. Lunch was a Baked Pot with beans and then a mullerlihght. Unfortunately, I didnt have time for dinner,m so when I went to friends birthday party i ate about 7-8 duck spring roollls!!! and munched on some carrot and cucumber sticks dipped into sour cream. On top of that, the amount of vodka consumed, i was DEFINITELY well over my 15 syns!

Sunday though, i had some bacon and 1/2 slice white bread for breakfast (no nimble left!), lunch was a chicken dinner with green beans, mash (used milk as HeA), carrot&parsnip, peas, and gravy (syn free).
Dinner/snack; 2 nimble with chicken, cheese (1/2 Hea & 3 syns), lettuce, onion, pepper, scallions, cucumber, 1 tsp extra light mayo (1 syn)
supper: cup tea & weight watchers Chocolate cake bar (synned)
    Syns = about 12 1/2?

    so, today I am back on track;
BF: mullerlight yoghurt, cup tea. (not feeling hungry this morning)
Lunch is going to be smoked mackerel with a large salad
Dinner is yet to be decided; i have a full cooked chicken in the fridge and also beef casserole that both need to be used. I think im swaying towards the chicken with all the trimmings; sweet potatoe, butternut squash, peas, corn on the cob, & broccoli! with mash and possibly SW roasters.

Sorry for going on, i just needed to write it all oout to get it back in my head.
Lovely to see all the newcomers, i like it that we can all help and encourage each other. i also love tohear about success with reciipes etc! :)

Well I had my at home WI in this morning and I had lost half a pound. I'm pleased with this, as although it was my first week back on plan I did go away for a hen do this weekend. Whilst I didn't drink much, we did go for afternoon tea in Bath! This included scones, cream, pastries and egg mayo sandwiches!!!! And the night before this the only vegetarian thing on menu at the restaurant was a creamy risotto! So I'm glad I didn't put on weight!

Back on plan today and should have no distractions this week.

    Green day:
    B - shreddies and skimmed milk (hea + b)
L - jacket spud beans and cheese, muller light (hea)
    D - ? pasta maybe ?
Snacks - fruit, alpen light (heb)
Syns - LF marg for jacket - 2

Well, I weighed in this morning at 13 sts 12 lbs.

I went to the gym this morning for an hour and had an omelette for brekkie and pork chops with veg for lunch. I didnt eat any of the veg, as it was disgusting, so now I am still quite hungry.

I love veg but don't know how to cook it nicely. What does everyone else do with their veg?

Also, where can I find nice SW recipes as I will get bored of meat and veg everyday.
