    Good Morning All,

After last weeks very positive vibe I've had an awful week, all my own fault entirely as I find myself falling in to bad habits very quickly when things start getting stressful for me. I'm in the middle of a divorce from an abusive relationship, have my 3 young children living with me and am really struggling on the financial front. Have had to spend over £800 since xmas on broken boiler and replacement clutch pedal for car. Then got home on friday to a letter from the bank saying they are reducing my overdraft by half. I sat down and cried for ages and then resorted to eating everything I could get my hands on and havent stopped since.

I have a friend picking me up at 12 so we can go to the gym together, I am over 18st so will be going for a walk no the treadmill and maybe a swim afterward. I will go to this weeks meeting as I so want to get back on track, I reckon I will have out on half of the 8lb I had lost :( but at least I am prepared for it.

(((hugs))) Kiwichick. We all have bad weeks but it sounds like you are wanting to get back on track so keep at it! I have slipped twice this week already, but SW is so flexible that as long as you get back on track you should be ok in a week or so!

I am similar weight to you, so have a long way to go. Just take it one week at a time

sorry to hear things are hard at the moment. It sound like your doing great all things considered. Jan is such a hard month, nevermind with added extra boiler issues.
Your still in the right frame of mind though and heading in the right direction. Just start today as a new day.
Just keep reminding yourself why you are losing weight. Maybe get a pic of a nice dress or jeans you'd like to fit into soon and pop it on the fridge and cupboards. It might not always stop me but it makes me think about reaching for the biscuit tin and usually ill change my mind and go to the fruit bowl.

Hi Al, Sorry you are having such a hard time:(. Hope the gym will lift your spirit:T.

I find when I want to have a binge on food, I put lots of cut up potatoes, and other root vegetable, sprayed with fry light, add garlic if u want, bake in the oven and it's great for keeping me away from the savoury fattening stuff and is cheap to do:money:.

    HTH.

ive already posted my meal plan for today but has now totally changed lol. I decied to make an effort and made some soup and something nice for lunch.

Brekkie - scrambled egg on toast

lunch - baked sweet potato with the filling scooped out and mixed with cheese and fromage frais and crispy bacon, popped back into potato skins and grilled. (hea for cheese)

Dinner - homemade leek and potato soup (free and cooking in slow cooker as we speak) followed by mince and tatties and lots of veg.

snack - fruit, yoghurt and soup if needed.

Looking back over it looks like a lot of potato lol. It is all free so hopefully it will be ok. I should be nice and full though.

Quick question re the banana bread pudding - do you have to count the banana as you are cooking it? if so how many syns?

    Thanks

    Well, here's where I rebel :D

See, I think if I'm only going to have the one banana then I don't count any syns, because I could (and would) have eaten one banana raw.

Before I cause a stampede of people 'tweaking' the plans to suit themselves, I must say in a LOUD voice.....this is me, not SW.
I have also quite often used up the last of my HEA milk by blending it with one banana as a milkshake :o
