Evening everyone - been catching up with the thread.

Am clambering back onto the wagon that I fell off this week:whistle: Made a chilli in the slow cooker yesterday which is really yummy - and I've even frozen 2 portions for when I am desperate for a dinner:eek: this never happens!

But I do have to say, I have been shovelling food in like there is no tomorrow this week - and am feeling bloated and horrible!

Also learnt a valuable lesson - I MUST NOT BUY HI-FI BARS - they are too yummy and I can merrily eat the packet of three without even noticing:o
Onward and upward - with the odd step to the side

Evening all, I had pizza in the end.....oh sod it, it was worth it!

I had one of the new lighter ones with salad in the middle, one with chicken and peppers on it. It was really nice and very filling :)

I've decided to flexi-syn today, around 100 I reckon as I fancy a beer this evening. How to others get on when they use syns like this? do you still have a loss at the end of the week?

hi, im sure it was skint catt and kellybigboobs who talked about it a while ago, I cant really remember the ratio, but I think it was 1/3 oil to water, it needs a very good shake. I tried it once but went bakc to frylite.

I tried that once when we ran out of Frylight and couldn't get to Tesco. I wouldn't do it again, it tasted crap and evaporated almost instantly in the pan

To be honest it is a bit pants. The thing is they put emulsifiers in the frylight and obviously most people don't have this at home:rotfl: which is why it either comes out as oil OR water.Might google edible emulsifiers and see what comes up:D

I'm also looking to buy an oil mister so I can use oil but much less as I really am not keen on frylight:(

The recipe i was going to try was
    Quark 300g
    1 lemon rind and juice
    3 egg
    4 tbsp splenda

beat quark, yolks, half the splenda
    putin ramekins, bake 10 mins
    whip egg white, add splenda
    bake further 5 mins
    and chill.

To be honest I've tried quark a few times and not liked it so chances are its not going to be great...

Does anyone have any low syn sweet recipes that are tried and tasted?
If you get the current Slimming World magazine (Jan/Feb edition I think) there is a little booklet with it that has lots of easy dessert recipes - and there are some nice main meal recipes in the magazine too.
