Most of us have fallen by the wayside countless times, but as long as we keep trying, there's every chance we'll succeed.
Thanks Consultant - I always feel like a failure because I've joined and rejoined and rejoined again, but I suppose the fact that I keep trying is something to be proud of!
Bought the magazine today and been reading all the success stories so am feeling all motivated and ready to go. Walked for an hour to and from the village shop to buy the mag so good exercise too! So today's menu (green) is:
B: 2 boiled eggs, 57g bread (HEB) and 5g Flora Buttery (1.5 syns)
L: Broccoli and Stilton soup (WW recipe - can post if anyone wants it) - 9 syns for whole pan so will see how many it serves - probs 6 so 1.5 syns each
T: Falafel from mag to start
Homity pie from mag (cheese as HEB) with broccoli and carrots - glad this has good reviews on here cos it looks gorgeous, plus we can all eat it (Dad is a fussy veggie!)
S: Milk in drinks (HEA), poss Skinny Cow (5 syns), poss Options (2 syns)
Also, apologies if thi has been posted before but Tesco have Mullerlights 5 for £1, I think til 2nd Feb. Not a massive fan of them but do like the choc sprinkled one and couldn't leave them there at that price!2011: [STRIKE]Houses[/STRIKE], [STRIKE]weddings[/STRIKE], [STRIKE]cats[/STRIKE]

I seem to remember someone on here played about with making their own spray oil and found the best oil to water ratio. If anyone knows where the thread is or what the ratio was could they please post it? Been searching through the old threads but can't find it.

hi, im sure it was skint catt and kellybigboobs who talked about it a while ago, I cant really remember the ratio, but I think it was 1/3 oil to water, it needs a very good shake. I tried it once but went bakc to frylite.:santa2::xmastree::santa2:0 -

I wasnt too keen on the Lemon merangue pie (it tasted like feet ) that could of been the way I made it. I found the texture weird and too cheesey. But im also not too keen on splenda tasting stuff, and I could really taste it.
Im not sure ifs its the same lemon merangue pie recipe though, I did one in a mag from a while ago.:santa2::xmastree::santa2:0 -

The recipe i was going to try was
Quark 300g
1 lemon rind and juice
3 egg
4 tbsp splenda
beat quark, yolks, half the splenda
putin ramekins, bake 10 mins
whip egg white, add splenda
bake further 5 mins
and chill.
To be honest I've tried quark a few times and not liked it so chances are its not going to be great...
Does anyone have any low syn sweet recipes that are tried and tasted?0
