Kelly - welldone for not bottling it, its so hard to go back. I think going to class and staying is the key for me to stay on track. This is the longest (since xmas) ive stayed on plan for a year. I think its because I joined a new group I liked and am writing everything down again.

Carla - let us know how your curry is. We are always trying new curries but find they are all very similar, would be nice to try a different recipe. Im not a fan of mushy peas, but if they disappear into the sauce it will be good.

Just been to Morrisons and got some Finn crisp crispbread. They are 1 syn each. Wondering are they the same as scan bran (walked past h&b and forget to get some of them there :silenced: Cant seem to find scan bran on the website.
Also from Morrisons got some wholegrain crackerbread. Seems to be the only place I can get them (unless someone knows better )

    Hi all.
I thought I'd write down what I'm eating for a few days - keep myself in check. This is an EE day - I know I could have an easier day if I did green but I'm making a effort here!

Br - Rice with Vanilla mullerlight - the only fruit I had was tangerines and I didn't think they'd go with vanilla.
Lunch - pasta, HM tomato and veg sauce(1 syn) and tblsp parmesan (1.5 syns). Mullerlight and banana (been to shop now!).
Tea - Quorn shepherd's pie (1 syn oil 6 syns cheese on top). Peas.
    Hea - skimmed milk.
    Heb - toast later.
    More fruit.
I hope this is super speedy enough - must read the lists again.

Hope everybody is having a good day.
August Shopping Challenge. 26/8. Budget £250 Spent £256.81.. £6.81 over. So £0.00 a day left.
  • Hi Ladies (and gents if there are any)

Thanks for the welcome. Had a good first day yesterday and done well this morning too. Made a huge saucepan of sweet potato and red pepper soup (using frylight) yesterday, so all free foods, it was lovely (even if I say so myself!).

Does anybody else have a massive amount to lose (and I mean A LOT?) If so, how do you do it, do you just do a stone at a time, how do you stop yourself from being so dishearted at the amount of time it will take?

    Thanks

I have a lot to lose. To get my BMI to the normal range I need to loose 6 stone, but I personally think that would be too much for someone my size (I'm tall and naturally big-boned) so I would like to lose 4 and half stone.

I'm taking pound at a time, and think I will reward myself with something (not food!) everytime time I lose half a stone.

I'm thinking of it as a lifestyle change rather than being disheartened at the length of time it will take! As asfter all, if and when I do get to target then I'll have to stick at SW to maintain!
